Abstract

komunikasi ini mampu mentransmisikan sinyal hingga ribuan kilometer tanpa repeater dengan menggunakan lapisan ionosfer sebagai media propagasi. Namun kualitas sistem komunikasi ini dipengaruhi oleh variasi kondisi lapisan ionosfer yang berubah sepanjang waktu. Perubahan kondisi laipisan ionosfer disebabkan oleh ketinggian ionosfer itu sendiri, lokasi secara geografi, aktivitas matahari, dan sebagainya. Sehingga diperlukan lintasan alternatif dengan memanfaatkan waktu dan spasial ionosfer dalam sistem komunikasi HF apabila terdapat gangguan pada lintasan utama.
Untuk mengetahui link mana yang cocok digunakan sebagai link alternatif, maka dilakukan korelasi kuat sinyal antara link utama dengan beberapa link alternatif.
Berdasarkan hasil simulasi, korelasi keseluruhan link Surabaya-Merauke dengan link Surabaya-Biak sebesar 0.28734 Korelasi kuat sinyal antara link Surabaya-Merauke dengan Surabaya-Ternate adalah 0.025156. Sedangkan korelasi antara link Surabaya-Ternate dengan Surabaya-Biak adalah 0.26363. Dari ketiga link tersebut, nilai korelasi terendah yaitu antara link Surabaya-Merauke dengan Surabaya-Ternate, sehingga link Surabaya-Ternate dapat dijadikan sebagai link alternatif jika terjadi gangguan pada link Surabaya-Merauke.
================= HF communication system (High Frequency) is a communication system using radio waves that work on 3-30 MHz. This communication system is capable of transmitting signals up to thousands of kilometers without repeaters by using the ionosphere layer as a propagation medium. However, the quality of this communication system is influenced by the variation of ionosphere layer conditions that vary over time. Changing ionosphere layer conditions are caused by the high ionosphere itself, geographic location, solar activity, and so on. So an alternative path is required by utilizing the spatial and ionosphere time in the HF communication system when there is interference on the main link.
To find out which link is suitable to be used as an alternative link, a strong signal correlation between the main link and some alternative link is required.
Based on the simulation results, the overall correlation of Surabaya-Merauke link with Surabaya-Biak link is 0.28734. The overall correlation of Surabaya-Merauke link with Surabaya-Ternate link is 0.025156. While the overall correlation between Surabaya-Ternate and Surabaya-Biak is 0.26363. The correlation Surabaya-Merauke link and Surabaya-Ternate is the lowest. So Surabaya-Ternate link is suitable to be an alternative link when Surabaya-Merauke link was interrupted.
