Abstract
Total keseluruhan biomassa hutan mangrove di Teluk Lamong pada tahun 2018 sebesar 6.593,850 ton/ha.================ The mangrove forest is one of the forests in the tropical which has role as a major of carbon absorption and storage. The damage of mangrove forests occur due to the behavior of the community to build fishpond, aquaculture, and illegal logging for timber production or construction of new settlements, as it happens at the mangrove forest on the Lamong bay which is the study location in this research. This location has been deforested due to construction at Romokalisari.
This research calculated biomass prediction using satellite images of the Pleiades 1-A 2015 and the value of allometrik biomass data from measurements in the field. Method of sampling in the field used is random plot and non destructive sampling. The algorithm used is Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). Allometrik biomass used to calculate overall mangroves in this research is BAP = 1,2218.D1,679.
Based on the results of the research, the correlation coefficient value of NDVI satellite imagery with biomass in the field is 0.728. The correlation coefficient value of NDVI satellite imagery with value of NDVI photo is 0.341. The value of the correlation coefficient of biomass in the field with the salinity is 0.797. The value of the correlation coefficient of biomass in the field with pH is 0.264. Biomass distribution of mangrove forests on the Lamong bay in 2018 is divided into three classes, which are, on low grade biomass reached 0 – 50 ton/ha, on the middle class reached 50 – 400 ton/ha, and on high class reached 400 – 700 ton/ha. The total biomass of mangrove forests in the Lamong Bay in 2018 amounts to 6,593.850 tons/ha.
