Abstract

Sungai Bengawan Solo merupakan sungai terpanjang di Pulau Jawa. Sungai ini mempunyai dua hulu sungai dari Pegunungan Sewu, Wonogiri dan Ponorogo selanjutnya bermuara di kecamatan Ujung Pangkah, Gresik, Jawa Timur. Daerah muara di wilayah Perairan Ujung Pangkah ini didominasi oleh areal tambak dan hutan bakau yang memiliki kerentanan terhadap perubahan lahan akibat sedimen transpor yang dibawa oleh aliran Sungai Bengawan Solo. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sedimen transpor dan perubahan morfologi perairan Ujung Pangkah yang diakibatkan oleh arus pasang surut, gelombang, serta debit Sungai Bengawan Solo. Dalam permodelannya digunakan bantuan software Delft3D yang dikembangkan oleh Deltares. Proses simulasi yang dilakukan berupa arus, gelombang dan sedimen dengan luas lokasi permodelan sekitar 11 x 8,5 km pada bulan Juni 2017. Hasil yang didapatkan dari simulasi pada area penelitian yaitu beberapa area terjadi sedimentasi, dengan laju sedimen terbesar 267.831 m3/bulan pada luas area 342.383 m2. Terjadinya sedimentasi ini disebabkan karena butiran sedimen yang terangkut oleh arus menuju ke muara sungai. Selain itu perairan ujung pangkah mengalami perubahan morfologi dasar yang didominasi karena adanya sedimentasi di beberapa area terutama di percabangan sungai, area barat dan utara Ujung Pangkah.

Bengawan Solo River is the longest river in Java Island. This river has two upstream rivers from the Sewu Mountains, Wonogiri Mountains and Ponorogo Mountains. The river bengawan solo has an estuary in Ujung Pangkah sub-district, Gresik, East Java. The estuary in Ujung Pangkah waters is dominated by fishpond and mangrove areas that have vulnerability to land conversion due to sediment transport carried by the flow of Bengawan Solo River. The purpose of This Final Project is to know the sediment transport and morphological changes in Ujung Pangkah waters caused by tidal flows, waves, and discharge from Bengawan Solo River. The modeling of Ujung Pangkah waters using Delft3D software developed by Deltares. The simulation process consisted of currents, waves and sediments with a modeling area of approximately 11 x 8.5 km in June 2017. The simulation results in the area of research is the rate of sediment transport in some areas, with the largest sediment rate of 267,831 m3/month in the area of 342,383 m2.. This is because the grains of sediment transported by the current to the mouth of the river. In addition, the morphology of Ujung Pangkah waters change because sedimentation dominates in some areas, especially in river branching, west and north Ujung Pangkah areas.
