Abstract
Sedangkan sistem tanpa AFTC didapatkan nilai maximum overshoot 9,5796%, settling time 13 detik dan error steady state 8,6944%.
==========================================================
Superheater works to change saturated steam into superheated steam with heating process. In the superheater there is a temperature control system to keep the temperature of the finally superheater output stay at setpoint by manipulating variable water flow rate of the spray in order to decrease the temperature of the finally superheater output. Not infrequently the temperature control system occurs on the sensor error so that the controller will send the wrong signal to the control valve. In this Final Project is designed Active Fault Tolerant Control (AFTC) which is able to work when there is a mistake on the sensor and still can keep the system performance. The first step is the modeling of the processes in the finally superheater. The second step is to design a PID control system. The final step is to design an AFTC system where there are two stages of designing the observer and reconfiguration control. Performance tests are given in the form of error sensitivity and error of bias. AFTC system with 8% sensitivity error obtained maximum overshoot 4.0583%, settling time 75 seconds, and error steady state 0.0019%. While the system without AFTC obtained maximum overshoot 9.5796%, settling time 13 seconds, and error steady state 8.6944%.
