Abstract
Pesawat tempur merupakan pesawat militer yang memiliki mission task, misalnya membidik sasaran/target, sehingga umumnya didesain dengan ukuran yang relatif lebih kecil, cepat, dan lincah. Misi tersebut membuat pesawat memiliki manuver yang tinggi sehingga membuat sistem pesawat memiliki kestabilan yang rendah. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan perancangan kendali LQG agar pesawat dapat bergerak stabil dan mengikuti setpoint yang diberikan. Kendali LQG dipilih karena mampu memperbaiki kesalahan keluaran pada sistem stokastik. Pada tugas akhir ini, kendali LQG diterapkan pada gerak longitudinal pesawat atau gerak pitch. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kendali LQG pada sistem menghasilkan overshoot sebesar 5.8 % pada waktu 1.8 s dengan waktu stabil hingga 0.4 s.

Hence it is generally designed with relatively smaller size, faster, and agile. This mission caused the aircraft to have a high maneuver that makes its system has low stability. Therefore, it is necessary to design LQG control that makes the aircraft to move stable and follow the setpoint. The LQG control was chosen because it can reduce the output error on the stochastic system. In this final project, LQG control was applied to longitudinal motion or pitch motion of plane. Simulation result shows that LQG control to the system produced of 5.8 % at 1.8 s with settling time up to 0.4 s.
