Abstract
Pada penelitian kali ini membandingkan ke 3 reduktor yaitu NH2OH.HCl, Na2S2O3, dan C6H8O6 dalam mereduksi Fe3+ menjadi Fe2+ yang meliputi pH optimum, waktu optimum pembentukan kompleks, dan konsentrasi optimum dengan metode spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Penentuan tersebut diperoleh pada panjang gelombang 510 nm. Pada optimasi pH buffer asetat diperoleh pH optimum 4,5 untuk masing-masing reduktor. Ketiga reduktor tersebut dapat mereduksi Fe(II)-Fenantrolin pada pendiaman selama 15 menit dengan konsentrasi optimum yang dihasilkan untuk NH2OH.HCl yaitu 8 ppm, Na2S2O3 sebesar 11 ppm, dan C6H8O6 sebesar 5 ppm, dengan hasil %recovery untuk reduktor NH2OH.HCl yaitu 116,007%, untuk reduktor Na2S2O3 sebesar 87,467%, dan untuk C6H8O6 sebesar 98,068%.

The present study, compared the 3 reductors of NH2OH.HCl, Na2S2O3, and C6H8O6 in reducing Fe3+ in to Fe2+, which includes optimum pH, complex formation time, and optimum consentration by UV-Vis spectrophotometer method. The determination was obtained at a wavelength of 510 nm. On the optimum pH of acetate buffer obtained optimum pH 4.5 for each reducer. The three reducers were able to reduce Fe(III)-Fenantrolin for about 15 min with the optimum concentration produced for NH2OH.HCl at 8 ppm, Na2S2O3 at 11 ppm, and C6H8O6 at 5 ppm, with %recovery yield for NH2OH.HCl is 116,007%, for Na2S2O3 is 87,467%, and for C6H8O6 equal to 98,068%.
