Abstract

Di dapatkan kebutuhan daya sebesar 388.1 HP maka di pilih VOLVO PENTA engine D6-400 dengan daya 400 HP dengan type inboard engine sterndrive yang di modifikasi mejadi twin screw.================================================================An amphibious vehicle is one of the most flexible types of ships in the aquatic or terrestrial transport sector, especially as a vehicle for military operation equipment. But for along times, these efforts are not widely used as rescue, which are functioned as handling victims of flood disasters, military space carriers, and patrols of sea and inland trails. In this final project from literature study, taking data data in the form of ship record data ever made into modeling parameters. Stomach modification of hull modifications will be made using some CAD drawing software and new modeling to be simulated / run using NUMECA FINE MARINE CFD. After knowing the hull resistance value of the most optimal then in the search by looking for machines that can be comparated according to the needs of marine and operational propulsion on land. From the wave elevation analysis that has been simulated in the program NUMECA FINE MARINE CFD get the maximum speed of 13 knots to be applied to this vehicle. As well as the results of prisoners without a hull cover (open mode) of 35,888 KN. while with a cover of the stomach (closed mode) of 24,254 KN. Then get the value of rational resistance is the value of resistance with closed mode. Generated power of 388.1 HP then select the machine VOLVO PENTA D6-400 with 400 HP power with engine type inboard sterndrive engine in twin screw modifications become.
