Abstract

Generator set merupakan suatu alat yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan energi atau daya listrik. Daya listrik yang dihasilkan oleh generator set digunakan untuk menyuplai kebutuhan listrik beban yang dalam tugas akhir ini adalah lampu. Range daya yang mampu dihasilkan oleh generator set antara 100-1200 watt. Daya yang dihasilkan oleh generator set dipengaruhi oleh campuran antara udara dan bahan bakar. Generator set yang digunakan adalah generator set dual fuel. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan respon yang stabil dengan rata-rata nilai overshoot dibawah 20% dan error dibawah 2%. Selain itu, didapatkan juga nilai Air Fuel Ratio (AFR) dual fuel yaitu 15,06. Selain itu, kestabilan daya yang dihasilkan oleh generator set juga dipengaruhi oleh mass flowrate bahan bakar yang diinjeksikan kedalam ruang bakar. Dari hasil simulasi saat diberikan set point daya 1200 watt, didapatkan nilai flowrate udara sebesar 2,118 L/min, flowrate biogas sebesar 0,133 L/min, dan flowrate bensin 0,01 L/min. Sedangkan saat diberikan set point daya 100 watt, didapatkan nilai flowrate udara 0,560 L/min, flowrate biogas 0,029 L/min, dan flowrate bensin 0,01 L/min. Pengendalian daya output pada generator set dual fuel ini supaya generator set dapat menghasilkan daya ouput yang sesuai dengan beban yang diberikan.

Generator set is a tool that used to generate electric power. The electric power generated by the generator set is used to supply the electrical load requirement which in this final project is the lamp. Range of power capable generated by generator set between 100-1200 watts. The power generated by the generator set is influenced by a mixture of air and fuel. The generator set used is a dual fuel generator set. From the results of this study obtained a stable response with overshoot below 20% and error below 2%. In addition, also obtained the value of Air Fuel Ratio (AFR) dual fuel is the best that is 15.06. In addition, the stability of power generated by the generator set is also influenced by the stability of the fuel mass flowrate injected into the combustion chamber. From the simulation result when given 1200 watt power point set, air flowrate 2,118 L/min, flowrate of biogas 0,133 L/min, and with gasoline flowrate is constant 0.01 L/min. While given the 100 watt power point set, obtained the flowrate of air value 0,560 L/min, flowrate of biogas 0,029 L/min and gasoline flowrate is constant 0,01 L/min. Control of output power in this dual fuel generator set so that the generator set can generate the output power matching the given load.
