Abstract
Dalam industri pengolahan minyak dan gas bumi, keselamatan kerja merupakan hal pokok yang perlu dipenuhi dalam aspek produksi. Hal ini tidak terlepas dari karakter minyak dan gas bumi sendiri yang memiliki sifat bertekanan tinggi dan mudah meledak sehingga apabila terjadi kegagalan pada sistem maka akan berdampak buruk pada manusia, lingkungan maupun kegiatan operasi itu sendiri. Untuk mengurangi kegagalan dipasanglah suatu sistem pengaman berupa pengaplikasian pressure relief device (PRD). Pressure Relief Divice berfungsi untuk mengontrol dan membatasi tekanan dengan cara mengarahkan aliran kedalam jalur tambahan. Dalam proses pemurnian minyak dan gas bumi pengaplikasian PRD sendiri terdapat pada sistem production gas separator. Namun, berdasarkan API 581 , PRD juga memiliki risiko kegagalan sehingga setiap perusahaan minyak dan gas bumi perlu melakukan inspeksi secara rutin guna menjamin keandalan dari PRD. Program inspeksi dan penjadwalan inspeksi yang tepat dan akurat diperlukan guna menjamin keselamatan pegawai, pengamanan terhadap plant, serta mengoptimalkan biaya inspeksi. Salah satu pendekatan untuk mengevaluasi kritikal dari PRD untuk mengatur program inspeksi dan penjadwalannya adalah dengan menggunakan metode Risk Based Inspection (RBI). RBI merupakan sebuah pendekatan sistematis tentang metode pengelolaan inspeksi terhadap peralatan atau unit kerja yang didasarkan kepada tingkat risiko yang dimiliki oleh peralatan atau unit kerja tersebut. Penilaian risiko untuk PRD sistem Production Gas Separator didasarkan pada API RP 581 edisi ketiga. Setelah mengetahui tingkat risiko yang ada maka dievaluasi terhadap risiko tersebut. Risiko yang masih masih diterima bisa dijadikan acuan untuk menentukan waktu inspeksi berikutnya sampai mencapai risk target. Sedangkan,Risiko yang tidak diterima harus segera dilakukan inspeksi setelah dilakukan analisis RBI.

In the oil and gas processing industry, work safety is the main thing that needs to be met in the production aspect. It is inseparable from the character of oil and natural gas itself which has high pressure and explosive properties. So that if there is a failure in the system it will have an adverse impact on humans, the environment, and operations itself. To reduce the failure instilled a security system in the form of applying the pressure relief device (PRD). Pressure relief device serves to control and limit the pressure by directing the flow into an additional path. In the process of purification of oil and gas application of PRD, many of them are found in production gas separator system. However, based on API 581, the PRD also has a risk of failure that every oil and gas company needs to conduct regular inspections to ensure the reliability of PRD. An accurate and proper of inspection planning is required to ensure employee safety, plant safety, and optimize inspection cost. One approach to evaluating critically the PRDs for arranging and scheduling programs is to use the risk-based inspection (RBI) method. The RBI is the systematic approach to the method of inspection management of equipment or work unit based on the level of risk that the equipment or work units. Risk assessment for production gas separator system’s PRD has based on API RP 581 third edition. After knowing the level of risk for PRD, the risk needs to be evaluated. For acceptable risk, it can be used as a reference to determine the next inspection until risk target. Meanwhile, unacceptable risk should be inspected immediately after RBI analysis.
