Abstract
Plankton merupakan sumber pakan alami hewan laut sehingga struktur komunitas plankton dapat menggambarkan kondisi perairan dan produktivitas sekunder, termasuk ikan pelagis. Sendang Biru merupakan perairan di Jawa Timur dengan hasil tangkapan ikan pelagis tinggi, sehingga pemantauan kondisi perairan di area tersebut sangat penting. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas plankton di kelima stasiun melalui pengukuran indeks biologi meliputi: indeks keanekaragaman (H’) Shannon-Wiener, kemerataan jenis (E) Pielou, dominansi Simpson (D), kesamaan (Cmh) komunitas Morisita Horn di perairan Sendang Biru. Penelitian dilakukan di Perairan Sendang Biru pada bulan April 2018. Sampel plankton dan air diambil dari lima stasiun yang mewakili beragam fungsi area di perairan Sendang Biru. Hasil penelitian menujukkan tingkat keanekaragaman plankton dalam kategori sedang (H’ fitoplankton 1.6 – 2.4; H' zooplankton 2.1 - 2.4), Dominansi plankton dalam kategori rendah (D fitoplankton 0.1 - 0.39; D zooplankton 0.12 - 0.15); Kemerataan plankton dalam kategori merata (E fitoplankton 0.5 – 0.7; E zooplankton 0.7 – 0.8). Kemiripan komunitas Morisita Horn plankton dalam kategori yang relatif sama diatas nilai 0.5. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan indeks biologi, perairan Sendang Biru ternyata dinilai masih baik untuk mendukung sumber daya perikanan yang berkelanjutan. ============== Plankton is a natural food source for marine animal so that the plankton community structure can describe water condition and secondary productivity, including pelagic fish. Sendang Biru in East Java with a high catch of pelagic fishs, so it is very important to monitoring the condition of the waters in the area. The purpose of the research was to find out the structure of the plankton community in the five stations through the measurement of biological index: the index of diversity (H') Shannon-Wiener, evenness (E) Pielou, Dominance by Simpson (D), simillarity (Cmh) community Morisita Horn in the waters of Sendang Biru. This Research conducted in the waters of Sendang Biru in April 2018. Plankton and water samples were taken from the five stations representing a diverse range of functional areas in the Sendang Biru. The research shows the value of diversity index of plankton in the medium category (H ' phytoplankton 1.6 – 2.4; H ' zooplankton 2.1-2.4), index of the dominance of plankton in lower categories (D phytoplankton 0.1-0.39; D zooplankton 0.12-0.15); evenness index of plankton in the category of equitable (E phytoplankton 0.5 – 0.7; E zooplankton 0.7 – 0.8). Community similarity of plankton in the category Horn Morisita relatively the same above the value of 0.5. Based on the results of calculation of index of biology, Spring waters Blue turns out to be assessed either to support a sustainable fishery resource.
