Abstract
Sistem komunikasi dan penyimpanan data robot pada Graphical User Interface (GUI) versi lama tidak dapat dikembangkan atau dimodifikasi. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena tidak dibuat secara modular sehingga mempersulit pengembangan Rhino robot. Selain itu, kapasitas memori pada GUI versi lama cukup besar karena terdapat fungsi XNA Framework dan menu-menu pengendali robot yang berlebihan.
Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut perlu optimalisasi GUI pada Operator Control Unit (OCU) Rhino robot. bahasa pemrograman menggunakan C# dengan Integrated Development Environment (IDE) Visual Studio. Sistem komunikasi dan penyimpanan data robot dikelompokkan menjadi 3 bagian program dengan metode inheritance class atau kelas turunan. Pembuatan GUI menggunakan salah satu fitur IDE yaitu Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah program sistem komunikasi dan penyimpanan data lebih terstruktur sehingga dapat dikembangan untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Setelah itu, kapasitas memori pada GUI versi baru sebesar 57,4 MB dengan rata-rata penggunaan memori saat dijalankan sekitar 513,5 MB serta jumlah halaman GUI sebanyak 8 dengan rincian 3 halaman utama dan 5 halaman pendukung untuk mengendalikan gerak robot. =========================================================================================================
The system of communication and data storage of robots on the old version Graphical User Interface (GUI) can’t be developed or modified. because it isn’t made in a modular way and mae it difficult for developer. In addition, the memory capacity in old versions of GUI is quite large because there are XNA Framework function and excessive robot control menus.
Based on these problems we need to optimize the GUI on the Operator Control Unit (OCU) Rhino robot. programming language using C # with Integrated Development Environment (IDE) Visual Studio. Communications systems and data storage robots are grouped into 3 parts of the program with the method of inheritance class. GUI creation uses one of the IDE features of the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
The result of this research is program of communication system and data storage more structured so that can be developed for further research. After that, the memory capacity of the new version of GUI is 57.4 MB with an average memory usage of about 513.5 MB and the number of GUI pages as many as 8 with 3 main page details and 5 supporting pages to control robot motion.
