Abstract

Penjualan energi listrik segmen industri di PT PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jawa Timur dilakukan pada 16 kantor cabang. Penjualan di 16 kantor cabang tersebut beragam, dimana terdapat beberapa kantor cabang yang mempunyai penjualan tinggi, sedangkan ada juga beberapa kantor cabang yang mempunyai penjualan rendah. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya heterogenitas pada antar kantor cabang. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap penjualan energi listrik segmen industri dengan menggunakan regresi data panel. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah sebagai informasi untuk mengevaluasi dan menentukan jumlah pasokan listrik yang akan didistri-busikan ke masing-masing area dengan memperhatikan keberagaman kantor cabang distribusi dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Hasil analisis yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi penjualan energi listrik di PT PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jawa Timur adalah besar daya terpasang, kantor cabang, dan tahun penjualan. Kantor cabang berpengaruh terhadap penjualan energi listrik dengan pemodelan menggunakan Fixed Effect Model (FEM) menghasilkan koefisien determinasi sebesar 99,4% yang berarti model mampu menjelaskan keragaman penjualan energi listrik segmen industri sebesar 99,4%, dan sisanya sebesar 0,6% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak masuk dalam model.

Electricity sales of industrial segment in PT PLN (Persero) Distribution of East Java is done of 16 branch offices. Sales in these 16 branch offices are not uniform, there are branch offices that have high sales, and there are also branch offices that have low sales. This shows the existence of heterogeneity between branch office. Therefore, this research is to find out the factors that influence to electricity energy sales of industry segment by using panel data regression. The benefit of this research is as information to evaluate and determined the amount of electricity supply to be distributed for each area base on diversity of office of distribution area and the factors to influence it. The result of the analysis shows that the factors to influence the sales of electrical energy in PT PLN (Persero) East Java Distribution are the large power installed, branch offices, and sales year. Individual on branch effect to influence the sales of electrical energy by Fixed Effect Model (FEM) individual effects result that the determination coefficient is 99.4% which means the model is able to explain the diversity electricity industry segment sales of 99,4%, and the rest of 0.6% explained by other variables not included in the model.
