Abstract

Industri Kosmetik merupakan industri yang banyak menggunakan fluida yang bersifat basa sebagai bahan baku produksinya, salah satu diantaranya adalah fluida basa dari campuran H2O dengan larutan sabun. Pompa ini sangat berperan penting untuk memindakan fluida basa dari seal pot D2 menuju hisapan pot.Pada tugas akhir ini bertujuan melakukan perencanaan ulang pompa yang sesuai dengan instalasi pompa basa campuran H2O dan larutan sabun. Selain itu, kecepatan aliran di dalam pipa harus sesuai dengan range kecepatan aliran yang diijinkan berdasarkan fluida kerjanya. Oleh karena itu, perhitungan kapasitas, daya, efisiensi, dan head efektif instalasi dilakukan secara manual dan dibandingkan dengan numerik menggunakan software pipe flow expert . Dari hasil perancanaan ulang ini diperoleh diameter pipa. Kapasitas pompa didapat sebesar 400 m3/h dengan Heff sebesar 23,354 m dan NPSHA sebesar 9,6263 m serta didapatkan daya pompa sebesar 37 KW. Dengan kebutuhan tersebut, maka dipilih pompa sentrifugal merk End Suction Volute Pump (FSA) model 200 x 150 FS4KA.
========================================================================= In the Cosmetics Industry is an industry that uses a lot of alkaline fluids as raw material production, one of them is the basic fluid of the mixture of H2O with soap solution. This pump is very important to prevent the basic fluid from pot seal D2 to pot suction. This final project purposes to reselection pump that is appropriate with the installation of H2O and the soap solution , the velocity in the pipe must be appropriate with the velocity that is allowed according to the fluid. Therefore, the capacity, power, efficiency, and head effective installation calculate manually and with pipe flow expert application. According to the recalculation, so there is find the pipe diameter. In conclusion, based on the results the pump capacity = 400 m3/h, Heff = 23,354 , NPSHA = 9,6263 , and the pump power = 37 KW. The best choice is the centrifugal single stage with brand End Suction Volute Pump (FSA) model 200 x 150 FS4KA.
