Abstract

Proses produksi di perusahaan industri nasional bahkan multinasional tidak sepenuhnya dijalankan menggunakan mesin otomatis. Salah satu contohnya pada perusahaan industri costumer dari PT. IRA dimana proses pengepakan atau packaging pouch kedalam kardus masih dikerjakan secara manual menggunakan tenaga manusia. Maka dari itu, dibuatlah sebuah mesin Robotic Pouch Case Packer yang memiliki beberapa sistem untuk menjalankan proses secara sequence. Pada penerapannya di lapangan, interface antara operator dengan mesin masih dirasa rumit. Hal ini disebabkan terlalu sederhananya tampilan untuk memonitoring sistem yang bekerja.
Sebagai solusi dari permasalahan tersebut, terciptalah sebuah inovasi untuk membuat tampilan interface pada sistem yang mudah dipahami dan dikontrol oleh operator. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya beberapa tampilan halaman yang mampu mengimplementasikan sistem secara detail. Beberapa tampilan tersebut diantaranya; simulasi proses, delay setting timer, database dan alarm massage error.
Dalam penelitian ini, mahasiswa akan fokus membahas mengenai tahap penyortiran box pada box dropper system. Tahap ini merupakan tahap awal dalam penyuplaian box kedalam mesin Robotic Pouch Case Packer. Terdapat 3 bagian utama sebagai penyusun sistem ini diantaranya; infeed modular conveyor, box dropper, dan box buffer conveyor.
Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah memahami secara rinci sistem yang terdapat pada box dropper serta terealisasinya sebuah interface yang kompleks untuk mempermudah operator dalam memonitoring box dropper system.

Production processes in national and even multi-national industrial enterprises are not fully run using automated machines. One example is the costumer company from PT. IRA where the packaging process or packaging pouch into cardboard is still done manually using human power. Therefore, a Robotic Pouch Case Packer machine has several systems to run the sequence process. In its application in the field, the interface between the operator and the machine is still considered complicated. This is due to its simplistic display to monitor the working system.
As a solution to the problem, an innovation creates an interface to the system that is easily understood and controlled by the operator. This is because there are several page views that are able to implement the system in detail. Some of the views are; process animation, timer delay setting, database alarm and alarm error. In this research, students will focus on the stage sorting process box dropper box. This stage is the initial stage in the supply of boxes into the Robot-ic Pouch Packer machine. There are 3 main parts as the compiler of this system among others; infeed modular conveyor, box dropper, and box buffer conveyor.
The expected result of this research is to understand in detail the system contained in the dropper box and the realization of a complex interface to facilitate the operator in monitoring the dropper system box.
