Abstract
Edukasi dalam permasalahan konservasi dinilai sangat kurang, hal ini ditandai dengan banyaknya kasus perburuan oleh masyarakat sekitar area konservasi. Fenomena ini perlu mendapat perhatian khusus bagi masyarakat, khususnya masyarakat yang peduli terhadap lingkungan. Film dokumenter yang mengangkat kisah pembentukan konservasi di Pantai Taman Kili Kili Trenggalek adalah salah satu upaya mengatasi masalah konservasi kepada masyarakat luas. Kisah para anggota konservasi yang dengan merawat dan menyelamatkan penyu menjadi penekanan cerita pada film dokumenter ini.
Metode perancangan diawali dengan observasi keadaan lapangan di lokasi Pantai Taman Kili Kili Trenggalek, pendekatan kepada warga melalui wawancara, penelusuran cerita dilakukan melalui rekam cerita penduduk. Tahap selanjutnya adalah pengolahan data menjadi cerita melalui penataan hasil wawancara dan pengaturan flow cerita berdasar narasi dari narasumber sehingga didapatkan pengantaran alur ke arah konflik secara runtut.
Film dokumenter dengan durasi 19 menit memiliki ide utama kisah masyarakat sekitar yang berubah dari pemburu menjadi kelompok konservator yang didorong oleh keinginan bersama. Melalui film dokumenter ini pesan tentang bagaimana seharusnya dlam menyikapi alam dan satwa disampaikan melalui perantara kisah Konservasi Penyu Pantai Taman Kili Kili Trenggalek.

Education in conservation’s issues was considered to be very poor. It shown by many illegal hunting has been done by the locals. This phenomenon needs an attention from society, especially for those who care about the environment. Documentary movie about how sea turtle conservation in Pantai Taman Kili Kili Trenggalek was created is one solution to solve conservation’s issues. A story about the conservators who tended and rescue the sea turtle became the main plot of this film.
Observing the location, interview with locals was the very first step to do. Research result would be processed into a story through post-productionphase. Interview footages would be arranged so does the flows of the story would be reviewed based on the narrator. Resulting delivery of flow toward conflict in a coherent manner.
This 19 minutes documentary film has the main plot about how local peoples turned from poachers onto a group of conservator driven by a single will. From this documentary film, message of how to deal with nature and animals delivered through the story of Pantai Taman Kili Kili Trenggalek sea turtle conservation.
