Abstract
The new rules SNI 03-1726-2002 to become SNI 03-
1726-2012 making a difference in the design of MNC Tower . The
design of MNC Tower needs to re-evaluated using SNI-03-1726-
2012 the result between the old and the rules ,among the
differences in the value area of earthquake acceleration response
spectrum into 15 area of spectrum from 6 area of spectrum then
in SNI 03-1726-2002 accounted for only a short period seismic
acceleration compared to SNI 03-1726-2012 which takes into
account the short period and the period of one second.The
increase in the value of R for SRPMK system will change the
acceleration response of the earthquake and resulting differences
in the design of the period of resistance to the building structure.
Content difference in SNI 03-1726-2002 with SNI 03-
1726-2012 became the main focus of this thesis which determine
the feasibility of building in the earthquake load renewable
accept used pushover analysis based on the performance based
design that essentially looking for the capacity of a building
structure. Regulation pushover analysis taking reference from
ATC 40 (Seismic Evaluation and Retrofit of Concrete Buildings,

Redwood City, California, USA) and using SAP2000 assistance
in evaluating MNC Tower. Strengthening of structures required if
the structure has failed in some element.
