Abstract

PT. Aneka Tambang (PT. ANTAM) merupakan badan usaha
milik negara (BUMN) yang bergerak dalam bidang eksplorasi,
pertambangan, pengolahan serta pemasaran dari sumber daya mineral.
PT. Antam memiliki pembangkitan sebesar 10x5805 kW dan 8x17076
kW. Kemudian ditambahkan generator sebesar 2x31875 kW. Namun
pada konfigurasi sistem yang baru generator sebesar 10x5805 kW tidak
dioperasikan dan karena telah digantikan dengan pembangkit tenaga uap
sebesar 2x31875 kW sehingga menyebabkan perubahan konfigurasi
sistem kelistrikn. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan studi kestabilan
transien dari sistem kelistrikan PT. Aneka Tambang. Beberapa
gangguan transien yang akan dijadikan studi kasus dalam tugas akhir ini
adalah gangguan generator outage, hubung singkat dan motor starting.
Ketiga jenis gangguan tersebut akan memberikan gambaran mengenai
kehandalan sistem kelistrikan terhadap gangguan transien. Tugas akhir
ini memfokuskan pada mekanisme load shedding sebagai solusi
terhadap berbagai jenis gangguan yang digunakan sebagai studi kasus.
Program yang digunakan untuk melakukan analisis adalah ETAP 11.
Hasil simulasi yang didapatkan pada tugas akhir ini akan dianalisis dan
kemudian baru melakukan perancangan mekanisme load shedding yang
sesuai. Terdapat dua jenis load shedding yang digunakan yaitu frekuensi
dan status. Apabila dibandingkan kedua jenis load shedding ini maka
jenis load shedding status dapat membuat sistem lebih cepat stabil
daripada load shedding frekuensi. Kasus hubung singkat pada bus
00AHC20 (30 kV) memerlukan skema load shedding karena terlepasnya
generator STG-2G pada saat terjadi hubung singkat.

PT . Aneka Tambang (PT. ANTAM) is one of State Owned
Enterprise ( BUMN ) which engaged in the field of mining, exploration
and mineral marketing. PT.ANTAM formerly possessing power
generation of 10x5805 kw and 8x17076 kw and currently has been
added a new generator of 2x31875 kw . But in this configuration the
generator of 10x5805 kw that is the power generators diesel generators
to be replaced with steam power of 2x31875 kw thus causing changes in
system configuration . So in this study will be held a transient stability
analysis of electrical system of PT. Aneka tambang . A transient stability
disturbance that will be used as a study cases are generator outage ,
short circuit and motor starting .These three types of the disturbance
will give an overview of performance of electric system against a
transient disturbance. The end of it focuses duty is to give the
mechanism of load shedding as a solutions to various kinds of
disturbance that used as case studies .A program used to do the analysis
is ETAP 11 . The Simulation results obtained on this final project will be
analyzed and then doing the design mechanism of load shedding is
appropriate. There are two types of load shedding used IE frequency
and status. When compared both types of load shedding the type of load
shedding status can make a faster system stable than the frequency load
shedding. Short Circuit on bus 00AHC20 ( 30 kv ) requires load
shedding scheme because the generator STG-2G was forcibly off due to
bus fault.
