Abstract

Tugas akhir ini adalah merancang dan membangun sebuah prototype Jemuran Pakaian Otomatis menggunakan microcontroller Arduino, motor beserta sensor-sensor yang terpasang di dalamnya. Rancang bangun prototype ini ditujukan untuk memudahkan orang ketika menjemur pakaiannya agar bila sewaktu-waktu hujan melanda, jemuran secara otomatis memindahkan pakaian menuju tempat yang teduh sehingga pakaiannya tidak basah terkena air hujan. Diharapkan dengan adanya sistem jemuran pakaian otomatis ini bisa memberi manfaat apabila diterapkan dalam kehidupan nyata.
Tantangan utama tugas akhir ini adalah menggabungkan microcontroller,beberapa sensor,motor DC dan modul wifi agar saling terkoordinir dengan baik sehingga menjadi sebuah sistem jemuran pakaian otomatis sesuai yang diharapkan.
Hasil dari Tugas Akhir ini adalah terbentuknya sistem jemuran pakaian otomatis berbasis arduino yang mana sistem ini dapat memenuhi beberapa kebutuhan fungsional antara lain dapat menggerakkan jemuran pakaian secara otomatis dalam keadaan hujan ataupun gelap, dapat memantau kondisi cuaca melalui aplikasi smartphone serta dapat mengontrol jemuran pakaian secara manual melalui aplikasi mobile.

This final project is to design and build a prototype of Automatic Clothes Retrieval Systemusing Arduino microcontroller along with motorandsensors installed in it. The design of this prototype is intended to facilitate people when hanging their clothes so that if at any time the rain hit, the clothesline automatically move the clothes to the shadesideso that clothes are not wet exposed to rain water. It is expected that with the automatic clothes clothesline system can provide benefits when applied in real life.The main challenge of this final task is to combine microcontroller, some sensors, DC motor and wifi module to be well coordinatedso that it becomes an automatic clothes clothesline system as expected.The result of this Final Project is Automatic Cloth Retrieval System Based on Arduino where the system can satisfysome functional needs such as can move clothes clothes automaticallyin the rain or dark conditions, can monitor the weather conditions through the smartphone application and can control the clothes clothing manually through mobile apps.
