Abstract

Dari segi keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja, industri pengolahan kayu memiliki risiko cidera dan kecelakaan 17% lebih tinggi dari industri pengolahan lain, karena pekerja pada industri ini bekerja menggunakan mesin serta peralatan kerja yang berbahaya. PT Kutai Timber Indonesia (KTI) merupakan salah satu perusahaan industri pengolahan kayu. Dimana salah satu divisi utamanya, menggunakan mesin serta peralatan kerja berbahaya untuk proses produksi yakni divisi Produksi 1, divisi ini melakukan produksi kayu lapis (plywood). Divisi ini merupakan penyumbang terbesar pendapatan bagi PT KTI. Dalam kegiatan produksinya tentu banyak sekali potensi bahaya yang memungkinkan terjadi kesalahan operasi tanpa terduga. Hal ini membuat divisi Produksi 1 menjadi salah satu bagian penting yang membutuhkan pengelolaan risiko yang komrehensif untuk meningkatkan produktivitas serta meningkatkan pendapatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi risiko-risiko potensial serta penyebab dari risiko tersebut hingga didapatkan sebuah usulan tindakan mitigasi dari risiko Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) divisi Produksi 1 PT KTI menggunakan metode House Of Risk. Terdapat 2 tahap dalam HOR, tahap 1 merupakan tahap identifikasi dan penilaian risiko. Sedangkan pada tahap 2 adalah tahap perancangan strategi mitigasi. Teknik pengambilan data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dan penilaian pada kuisioner offline oleh pihak expert dengan validasi hasil akhir menggunakan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi, diperoleh 67 kejadian risiko dan 58 agen risiko pada HOR tahap 1. Selanjutnya dari HOR tahap 2 menghasilkan 23 preventive action yang dirancang untuk menangani agen risiko. HOR tahap 2 menunjukkan usulan perbaikan untuk memitigasi penyebab risiko tersebut agar dapat mengurangi maupun menghilangkan risiko yang mungkin terjadi. Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk mengurangi kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi.

In terms of occupational safety and health, the wood processing industry has 17% higher risk of injury and accidents than other processing industries, because workers in this industry work using dangerous machinery and work equipment. PT Kutai Timber Indonesia (KTI) is one of the wood processing industry companies. Where one of the main divisions, uses machines and work equipment for the production process, namely Production 1 division, this division produces plywood. This division is the biggest contributor to PT KTI. In its production activities, of course, the potential danger that occurs is an unexpected operation error. This makes the Production 1 division an important part that requires investments that support in increasing productivity and revenue. This study discusses potential risks and the causes, which are related to occupational safety and health risks (K3) of Production Division 1 of PT KTI using the House of Risk method. The design of this study is using House of Risk (HOR), which will be divided into 2 stages namely, HOR 1 is used to identify the cause of the risk that is very necessary to form mitigation actions obtained from the priority results in the pareto diagram and followed by HOR 2 to provide recommendations related to the proposed mitigation action from any cause of the risk. The data retrieval technique was obtained from the results of interview and the assessment on offline questionnaires by the managers and expert staffs in their respective fields with the final result validation using Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the experts. Based on the results obtained, 67 risk events and 58 risk agents were obtained in the HOR 1. Next from the HOR 2 produced 23 preventive measures designed to handle. HOR 2 shows the proposed improvements to mitigate the causes of these risks in order to reduce or eliminate the risks that might occur. This is done to reduce work accidents that occur.
