Abstract

The use of the Electric Railway (KRL) in the JABODETABEK region has many advantages, free of traffic jams, pollution-free, low prices and high capacity. However, KRL which is supplied from PLN through its traction substations, will affect the quality of electric power in the utility electricity system. Problems that will arise are harmonics, low, and low voltage quality, which is a necessity for PLN electricity and electricity equipment. The use of rectifiers on the traction substation and KRL operation is a major cause of power quality problems. The example in the case of fire at the University of Indonesia traction substation in 2009 was
predicted as a result of the third harmonic. In this final project, the analysis of power quality in the form of harmonics, pf, and the quality of stresses and casualties will be simulated in the ETAP software. The results of simulations that are installed on a single tuner filter on order 5 and ode 7 reduce the average harmonic value, which is from 16.76% to 3.97%, and also bank capacitors increase pf which is less than 85% to above. While undervoltage can be overcome by changing the TAP transformer settings
