Abstract

Based Inspection (RBI) atau inspeksi berbasis risiko
process piping PL-117-A 0,75”, 2”, 3”, dan 4”. Process piping
Document.
diperbolehkan. ============ Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) is the method used to make
the inspection schedule based on the level of risk that is owned by
a component in a system. The object of this research is process
piping PL-117-A 0.75 ", 2", 3 ", and 4". Process piping PL-117-A
0.75 ", 2", 3 ", and 4" is an oil outlet of a production separator,
which has a pressure and temperature are not the same with the
environment outside of the pipe. Therefore, the process piping
have risk for failure occurs. In order to minimize the occurrence
of failure, it must be inspected in accordance with the risk in the
process piping. By using reference from API 581 Base Resource
Document, next it will be determined level of risk, methods, and
scheduling inspections of process piping PL-117-A 0,75 ", 2", 3 ",
and 4". The analysis was performed using a semi-quantitative
method in appendix B of API 581 Base Resource Document.
Thus, the results obtained were pipes with a diameter of 0.75", 2",
and 3” has a low level of risk, and do not need further inspection,
but do repairs. While for the pipe with a diameter of 4 " has a
medium level of risk, and should be done immediately repair
because the actual thickness of the pipe is lower than the required
thickness of the pipe.
