Abstract

Perusahaaan VICO Indonesia adalah suatu perusahaan asing yang
bergerak dibidang pengolahan minyak dan gas bumi di Kalimantan
Timur, Indonesia. VICO Indonesia memiliki 4 Lapangan pengolahan
minyak dan gas yaitu Muara Badak, Nilam, Semberah, dan Mutiara,
sehingga di VICO Indonesia pasti mempunyai 4 plan sistem kelistrikan
disetiap area tersebut.
Di VICO Indonesia sering terjadi Black Out (Sistem Kelistrikanya
Mati) biasanya diakibatkan Karena gangguan interkoneksi disalah satu
area di VICO itu sendiri, sehingga jika satu area terganggu maka area lain
juga ikut terganggu. Namun dalam pelayanannya, peralatan pengaman
yang dimiliki oleh VICO Indonesia masih belum terkoordinasi dengan
baik. Dari hasil plot koordinasi kurva arus waktu kondisi existing dapat
diketahui bahwa terdapat misscoordination dan overlaping. Melalui hasil
analisis dan perhitungan manual direkomendasikan penyetelan pick up
rele arus lebih dan penyetelan gradding time rele. Rele yang perlu disetel
ulang adalah rele arus lebih gangguan fasa (Over Current Relay) dan rele
arus lebih gangguan tanah (Ground Fault Relay).
Pada Tugas Akhir ini akan dilakukan evaluasi koordinasi proteksi
yang ada seperti pengaman arus lebih (Over Current Relay) dan rele
pengaman gangguan tanah (Ground Fault Relay) serta menggambarkan
kurva karakteristik arus waktu pada perusahaan VICO Indonesia. Analisis
koordinasi kurva proteksi ini diharapkan dapat mencegah atau membatasi
kerusakan jaringan beserta peralatannya.

VICO Indonesia factory is a foreign company engaged in the
processing of oil and gas in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. VICO Indonesia
has four oil refineries and gas field of Muara Badak, Patchouli,
Semberah, and Pearl, so in VICO Indonesia has had 4 plan in every area
of the electrical system.
The VICO Indonesia often occurs Black Out (Elecrical Systems
Dead) is usually caused Because interconnect disturbances in one area
in VICO itself, so that if one area is disrupted other areas also disrupted.
But in his ministry, safety equipment owned by VICO Indonesia is still not
well coordinated. From the results of the coordination plot a current
curve existing condition is known that there misscoordination and
overlapping. Through the analysis and manual calculation of the
adjustment recommended overcurrent relay pick up and adjustment
gradding time relay. Rele that needs to be reset is the relay overcurrent
phase disorder (Over Current Relay) and ground fault overcurrent relay
(Ground Fault Relay).
In this final project will be evaluated coordinating existing
protection as a safety overcurrent (Over Current Relay) and safety rele
soil disturbance (Ground Fault Relay) and describes the current
characteristic curve at the time the company VICO Indonesia. Analysis of
protection coordination curve is expected to prevent or limit damage to
the network and its equipment.
