Abstract
Salah satu kemajuan di Indonesia adalah berkembangnya teknologi,
diantaranya bidang transportasi dimana terdapat dampak negatif yaitu
semakin tingginya angka kecelakaan.. Menurut data Direktorat Lalu
Lintas di POLDA JAWA TIMUR, berdasarkan data pada tahun 2013
terdapat 19.889 korban sehingga perlu dilakukan pengelompokan
polres berdasarkan kecelakaan lalu lintas. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
kabupaten pada polres yang rawan terjadi kecelakaan berdasarkan
faktor-faktor penyebab kecelakaan lalu lintas. Dari penelitianpenelitian
sebelumnya, muncul sebuah ide yaitu melakukan pengelompokan
dan pemetaan untuk melihat kecenderungan yang mendominasi
penyebab kecelakaan di Provinsi Jawa Timur menggunakan analisis
faktor dan analisis cluster. Faktor-faktor penyebab kecelakaan terdapat
5 faktor yaitu faktor alam, faktor pengemudi, faktor kendaraan, faktor
jalan, dan faktor teknologi dalam analisis faktor penyebab kecelakaan
pada faktor pengemudi terdapat 4 komponen, faktor jalan dan faktor
kendaraan terdapat 3 komponen, faktor alam dan faktor teknologi tidak
dapat dianalisis karena terdapat data yang kosong (nol). Dalam analisis
cluster untuk mengetahui berapa cluster yang terbentuk menggunakan
metode elbow, pada faktor pengemudi terdapat 6 cluster, faktor kendaraan
dan faktor jalan terdapat 4 cluster. ========= One of Indonesia’s progress are development of technology.
Including the transportation field where there is a negative impact that is
increasingly high number of accidents. According to data from the
Directorate of Traffic Police East Java. Based on data in the year 2013
there were 19,889 victims that need to be done by grouping police traffic
accident. From previous studies, an idea emerged that perform grouping
and mapping for seeing trends dominating cause of accidents in the
province of East Java. There are 5 factors that causes accident: natural
factors, driver factors, vehicle factors, road factors and technological
factorss in the analysis of the causes of the accident on driver factors,
there are 4 components, 3 components of road factors and vehicles
factors, natural factors and technological factors can not be analyzed
because the data are empty (zero). In cluster analysis to determine how
many clusters are formed using thw elbow method. For the driver factors,
there are 6 clusters of factors, vehicle factors and road factors are 4
cluster.
