Abstract

Untuk menjamin terlaksananya proses produksi pada suatu industri, diperlukan kontinuitas pasokan daya. Apabila sistem kelistrikan industri tersebut mengalami gangguan maka proses produksi pada industri tersebut dapat berhenti beroperasi dan menimbulkan kerugian yang cukup besar. Gangguan yang terjadi juga dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kerusakan pada peralatan yang mendukung proses produksi. Maka dari itu sistem proteksi tenaga listrik memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menjamin kontinuitas proses produksi pada suatu industri. PT.Keramik Diamond Industries pernah mengalami trip pada sistem kelistrikan karena hubung singkat, hal itu disebabkan pada sistem kelistikan di sisi tegangan 20 KV belum perah dilakukan koordinasi proteksi sehingga gangguan meluas dan mengakibatkan blackout. Maka dari itu dibutuhkan sistem koordinasi proteksi agar sistem kelistrikan menjadi aman dan proses produksi dapat terpenuhi. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka tugas akhir ini difokuskan pada studi koordinasi proteksi untuk merancang sistem proteksi setting rele yang tepat di PT.Keramik Diamond Industries. Dalam melakukan koordinasi proteksi diperlukan analisis load flow dan hubung singkat. Grading time antar rele diatur sesuai standar IEEE 242 yaitu 0,2 s/d 0,3 s dan time delay dikoordinasikan sehingga rele tersebut dapat bekerja dengan benar. Hasil koordinasi proteksi ini dapat melindungi dari gangguan hubung singkat line to line dan line to ground.

To ensure the implementation of the production process in an industry, continuity of power supply is needed. If the industrial electricity system is disrupted, the production process in the industry can stop operating and cause considerable losses. Interference that occurs can also cause damage to equipment that supports the production process. So from that electric power protection system has a very important role in ensuring continuity of production processes in an industry. PT Keramik Diamond Industries had experienced a trip on an electrical system due to short circuit, it was caused by the electrical system on the side of the 20 KV voltage that had not yet been coordinated so that the interference spread and resulted in blackouts. Therefore, a protection coordination system is needed so that the electricity system is safe and the production process can be fulfilled. In this regard, this final project focuses on the coordination of protection studies to design the protection system of the appropriate relay settings at PT. Keramik Diamond Industries. In coordinating protection, load flow analysis and short circuit are needed. Inter-relay grading time is set according to the IEEE 242 standard, which is 0.2 to 0.3 s and the time delay is coordinated so that the relay can work correctly. The result of this protection coordination can protect from line to line and line to ground short circuit interference.
