Abstract
Tahapan proses addressing terbagi menjadi 4 yaitu counting benda kerja, pairing address benda kerja, locking address benda kerja dan pemutusan aliran address benda kerja. Dari keseluruhan diagram ladder sistem menggunakan metode Cascade diperoleh 26 input serta 113 rung terdiri dari 63 relay, 9 timer, 18 counter dan 3 output dengan besar data program sebesar 20126 Bytes.============================================================================================================There are several programming languages in the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), but only one language is commonly used, that is Ladder Diagram (LAD). The Ladder diagram modifies the desired program electrical circuit into a collection of relays in the form of contacts and coils. Contact describes input while the coil presents relay output on the ladder diagram program. The design of the ladder diagram is not done conservatively, but a method is needed in order to obtain effective and efficient results and not to save a lot of memory so that it has an impact on costs. In the topic of this final project, the Cascade method is used to reduce the number of relays not only physically but to approach through a number of processes so it will be easy to find solutions of more complex problems. Factory Automatic Trainer is a miniature industrial plant that generally has a similar system in real conditions. The chosen object of the research is multiple objects, provided by Factory Automatic Trainer, where problems occur when addressing is carried out continuously and multiply. The stages of the addressing process are divided into 4, counting workpieces, pairing address of workpieces, locking address of workpieces and termination of workpiece address flow. The overall ladder diagram of the system using the Cascade method produces 26 inputs also 113 rungs consisted of 63 relays, 9 timers, 18 counters and 3 outputs with a program data size of 20126 Bytes.
