Abstract

Berdasarkan statistik ketenagalistrikan pada tahun 2017, Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) dengan bahan bakar batubara masih akan menjadi tulang punggung kelistrikan di Indonesia dengan kapasitas produksi 30,208.23 MW dari total 60,789.98 MW atau sekitar 50% produksi listrik secara nasional. Berdasarkan data tersebut, maka diperlukan proses pengolahan batubara sebagai bahan bakar utama PLTU sehingga didapatkan efisiensi produksi serta meminimalisir jumlah polusi yang dihasilkan. Proses pengolahan batubara pada PLTU adalah proses yang kompleks dan berulang. Proses yang panjang dan kompleks tersebut dapat dirancang dalam bentuk ladder diagram dengan menggunakan metode state diagram yang akan diaplikasikan ke PLC sebagai kontroler. Dengan adanya ladder diagram, proses akan berjalan secara sekuensial. Desain ladder diagram dengan metode state diagram menghasilkan total 46 rung ladder dengan rincian 10 rung relay proses, 27 rung output dan 9 rung relay pendukung. Total kapasitas memori untuk file program yang dihasilkan sebesar 11 KB dengan rincian 3 KB file (.BAK), 3 KB file (.CXP), dan 5 KB file (.OPT) dengan waktu rata-rata sepuluh kali pengujian proses keseluruhan adalah 54,4 detik.

Based on electricity statistics in 2017, the Coal fuel Steam Power Plant (PLTU) will still be the backbone of electricity in Indonesia with production capacity of 30,208.23 MW of a total of 60,789.98 MW or around 50% of national electricity production. Based on the data, it is necessary to process coal as the main fuel of the PLTU to obtain production efficiency and minimize the amount of pollution produced. The process of coal handling on PLTU is a complex and repetitive process. The long and complex process can be designed in the form of a ladder diagram using state diagram method that will be applied to the PLC as a controller. With the ladder diagram, the process will run sequentially. Design of ladder diagrams using state diaram method produces a total of 46 rung ladders with details of 10 process relay rung, 27 output rung and 9 supporting relay rung. The total memory capacity for the program files used is 11 KB with details of 3 KB (.BAK), 3 KB (.CXP), and 5 KB (. OPT) with an average time of ten times the overall process testing is 54,4 seconds.
