Abstract
Jalan kereta api atau biasa disebut rel kereta api,
merupakan prasarana utama dalam perkeretaapian dan merupakan
ciri khas moda transportasi kereta api karena rangkaian kereta api
hanya bisa melewati jalan yang dibuat khusus untuknya yakni rel
kereta api. Rel inilah yang memandu rangkaian kereta api tersebut
berpindah dari satu tempat ke tempat lainnya.
Dengan semakin banyaknya peminat akan moda
transportasi ini maka jadwal perjalanan kereta api menjadi
semakin padat. Di Indonesia jalur kereta api yang ada masih
menggunakan satu jalur, sehingga jadwal perjalanan kereta api
harus diatur sedemikian rupa supaya tidak terjadi kecelakan antar
rangkaian kereta api yang bersimpangan hal ini yang
menyebabkan seringnya perjalanan kereta api menjadi terlambat.
Pembangunan jalur rel ganda kereta api diharapkan bisa
meningkatkan kelancaran perjalanan kereta api sehingga antrian
akibat simpangan antara dua rangkaian kereta api bisa
dihindarkan. Jalur kereta api MSP Paket T12 merupakan jalur rel
ganda yang dijadwalkan akan selesai tahun ini, dimana jalur ini merupakan jalur utama yang menghubungkan stasiun bojonegoro
dan surabaya.
Dalam tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan perencanaan ulang
yang meliputi perencanaan trase untuk alinyemen jalur ganda,
perencanaan geometri meliputi alinyemen horisontal dan
alinyemen vertikal, perhitungan struktur konstruksi jalan rel yang
meliputi rel, penambat, bantalan, dan balas, perencanaan wesel
dan sepur di emplasemen, perencanaan balas dan kontrol
stabilitas tanah dengan program Plaxis dan Geoslope.

Railroad or railroad commonly called, is a major railway
infrastructure and is the hallmark of railway transportation as a
series of trains can only pass road, built for her the railroad tracks.
This is a series of rails that guide the trains to move from one
place to another.
As more and more enthusiasts will be the mode of
transportation is the train travel schedule is becoming
increasingly congested. Indonesia's existing railway lines are still
using one lane, so that trains travel schedule should be arranged
in such a way so that no series of accidents between trains that
intersects this is the cause of frequent rail travel becomes too late.
Construction of double track railway lines expected to
improve the smoothness of the train trip so the queue due to the
deviation between the two sets of trains can be avoided. MSP
railway line T12 package is a double rail line is scheduled to be
completed this year, in which this pathway is the main route
connecting the station bojonegoro and Surabaya.
In this final project will be re-planning that includes
planning alignment for double track alignment, geometric design
includes horizontal alignment and vertical alignment, railway construction structure calculations that include rail, fastening,
bearing, and replied, planning notes and rail in railway yard,
planning ballast and soil stability control with Plaxis program and
Geoslope.
