Abstract
Sea World Kenjeran Surabaya merupakan sebuah tempat wisata akuarium yang khusus
menampilkan biota laut di Indonesia dan Mancanegara sebagai fasilitas pariwisata dan
edukasi bagi masyarakat yang berkunjung di Kota Surabaya. Sea World ini terletak di Pantai
Ria Kenjeran Lama. Selain sebagai sarana wisata dan edukasi diharapkan bangunan Sea
World ini juga sebagai landmark dan citra kota Surabaya kususnya dibidang pariwisata.
Menggunakan tema “ubur-ubur” dimana mengambil dari keunikan ragam biota laut dan juga
tema ini diterjemahkan dalam proses desain secara metafora dapat diraba. Menggunakan
konsep struktur kubah geodesik yang “futuristik.”Diharapkan bangunan Sea World Kenjeran
Surabaya ini memiliki keunikan dan menjadi ikon wisata Kota Surabaya pada khususnya dan
Indonesia pada umumnya.

Sea World Kenjeran Surabaya is a special tourist aquarium featuring marine life in Indonesia
and Abroad as tourism and education facilities for the people who visit the city of Surabaya.
Sea World is located in Long Beach Kenjeran Ria. In addition to tourism and education as a
means of building is expected to Sea World is also a landmark and image of the city of
Surabaya, specializing in tourism. Using the theme of "jellyfish" which took a unique variety
of marine life and the themes are also translated into the design process as a metaphor can be
