Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan implementasi Action Design Research dalam mengembangkan aplikasi absensi berbasis web di SMP Islam 13 Al Azhar Surabaya, sehingga proses absensi, proses rekap data absensi dan laporan absensi dapat dilakukan dengan lebih efisien. Berdasarkan metode action design research terdapat beberapa proses yang harus dilaakukan untuk melakukan penelitian. Hal utama yang harus dilakukan adalah iterasi pada tahap pengujian aplikasi sehingga peneliti mendapatkan hasil tentang perilaku siswa dalam menggunakan aplikasi absensi ini. Sehingga peneliti dapat membuat aplikasi senyaman mungkin untuk digunakn siswa maupun guru – guru di SMPI Islam Al Azhar 13 Surabaya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah solusi yang menjawab permaslaahan yang dihadapi SMP Islam 13 Al Azhar Surabaya dalam melakukan rakap data absensi dan laporan absensi pada pihak orang tua dan wali kelas siswa SMP Islam 13 Al Azhar Surabaya.

This research aims to implement Action Design Research in developing web-based attendance applications at Al Azhar 13th Islamic Junior High School of Surabaya, so that the attendance process, attendance data recap process and attendance report can be done more efficiently. Based on the action design research methods there are several processes that must be carried out to conduct research. The main thing that must be done is the iteration at the application testing stage so that the researcher gets the results about student behavior in using this attendance application. So that researcher can make the application as comfortable as possible for students and teachers to use at Al Azhar 13th Islamic Junior High School of Surabaya. The results of this research are a solution that answers the problems faced by Al Azhar 13th Islamic Junior High School of Surabaya in conducting absenteeism and attendance reports on parents and home room teacher of Al Azhar 13th Islamic Junior High School of Surabaya students.
