Abstract

PT Gelora Djaja merupakan anak perusahaan dari Wismilak Group yang merupakan perusahaan rokok terbesar di Indonesia dan telah terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Perusahaan publik ini mengelola industri rokok salah satunya adalah Diplomat Mild Reborn. Pengendalian kualitas terhadap proses making produksi Diplomat Mild Reborn dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode perbaikan six sigma dengan tujuan untuk mengurangi jumlah produk cacat. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan diagram kontrol Laney p’ menunjukkan bahwa proses making pada periode Januari hingga Desember 2018 telah terkontrol secara statistik dengan nilai rata-rata proporsi sebesar 0,00666. Pengukuran dengan menggunakan DPMO menghasilkan nilai 6737,93 dengan level sigma 3,97. Guna mencapai target six sigma maka PT Gelora Djaja diharapkan mampu melaksanakan perbaikan dengan fokus kepada faktor mesin yaitu dengan melakukan kalibrasi ulang pada sensor pembaca berat rokok sehingga tidak terjadi kesalahan perhitungan jumlah rokok cacat.

PT Gelora Djaja is a subsidiary of Wismilak Group which is the largest cigarette company in Indonesia and has been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This public company manages the cigarette industry, one of them is Diplomat Mild Reborn. Quality control for the process of making Diplomat Mild Reborn production is done using the six sigma repair method with the aim of reducing the number of defective products. The results of the analysis using the Laney P 'control chart shows that the making process in the period January to December 2018 has been statistically controlled with an average value of proportion of 0.00666. Measurements using DPMO produce a value of 6737.93 with a sigma level of 3.97. In order to achieve the six sigma target, PT Gelora Djaja is expected to be able to carry out repairs with a focus on machine factors, namely by recalibrating the sensors of heavy cigarette readers so that there is no miscalculation of the number of defective cigarettes.
