Abstract
Dalam penyusunan peta dasar sebagai data pendukung Program Pendaftaran Tanah Sistematik Lengkap (PTSL) di Kecamatan Wlingi, citra satelit beresolusi tinggi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber data utama. Namun, citra tersebut tidak dapat digunakan secara langsung karena masih mengandung kesalahan geometrik yang harus dieliminasi agar memenuhi standar ketelitian peta yang dipersyaratkan. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan koreksi geometrik melalui proses rektifikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rektifikasi transformasi polinomial orde 1, orde 2, dan orde 3 untuk memperoleh hasil yang paling optimal. Penentuan jumlah Ground Control Point (GCP) yang digunakan pada masing-masing orde transformasi menjadi aspek utama dalam penelitian ini. Analisis ketelitian geometrik dilakukan dengan menghitung nilai Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) berdasarkan GCP yang digunakan dalam proses rektifikasi serta melakukan uji statistik terhadap perbedaan jarak hasil rektifikasi citra dengan jarak pengukuran di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode polinomial orde 1 dengan 5 GCP menghasilkan RMSE sebesar 0,487 m, metode polinomial orde 2 dengan 8 GCP menghasilkan RMSE sebesar 0,397 m, dan metode polinomial orde 3 dengan 12 GCP menghasilkan RMSE sebesar 0,326 m. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, ketiga metode transformasi polinomial, yaitu orde 1, orde 2, dan orde 3, memenuhi persyaratan ketelitian untuk digunakan dalam pembuatan peta dasar Program PTSL di Kecamatan Wlingi pada skala 1:1.000 kelas 3.

High-resolution satellite imagery can be utilized as the primary data source for producing base maps to support the Comprehensive Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) Program in Wlingi Subdistrict. However, the imagery cannot be used directly because it contains geometric errors that must be eliminated to satisfy the required mapping accuracy standards. Therefore, geometric correction was performed through an image rectification process. This study applied first-, second-, and third-order polynomial transformation methods to determine the most suitable rectification approach. The selection of the number of Ground Control Points (GCPs) for each polynomial order was a key aspect of the study. Geometric accuracy was evaluated by calculating the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of the GCPs used during the rectification process and by conducting statistical tests comparing distances measured from the rectified imagery with field observations. The results show that the first-order polynomial transformation using five GCPs produced an RMSE of 0.487 m, the second-order transformation using eight GCPs produced an RMSE of 0.397 m, and the third-order transformation using twelve GCPs produced an RMSE of 0.326 m. These results indicate that all three polynomial transformation methods satisfy the required geometric accuracy for producing base maps for the PTSL Program in Wlingi Subdistrict at a map scale of 1:1,000 (Class 3).
