Abstract
Prediksi maneuverability pada tahap desain kapal merupakan metode penting untuk evaluasi performa maneuver kapal. Prinsip maneuverability sangat dipengaruhi oleh perancangan badan kapal, sistem propulsi, dan sistem kemudi. Elemen-elemen tersebut memberi pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap gaya dan momen hidrodinamika saat kapal bermanuver. Dalam tahap desain, perlu dilakukan pengujian model melalui uji hidrodinamika untuk mengetahui karakteristik atau performa olah gerak kapal. Ada dua uji yang dapat digunakan yaitu Captive Test dan Free Running Model Test. Captive Test dianggap sistem pengujian yang lebih analis dibanding FRM Test, namun biaya yang dibutuhkan sangat mahal sehingga diperlukan solusi alternatif untuk mendapatkan koefisien hidrodinamika kapal selain menggunakan Captive Test yaitu Free Running Model Test. Dalam Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk estimasi koefisien hidrodinamika kapal pada model gerak kapal nonlinear 4 Degree of Freedom (DOF) surge, sway, roll, dan yaw pada gaya dan momen hidrodinamika X, Y, K, N menggunakan data dari Laboratorium Hidrodinamika Indonesia (LHI) yang di dapat dari FRM Test melalui Turning Test dan Zigzag Test. Pada Penelitian ini estimasi koefisien hidrodinamika dilakukan menggunakan metode Ensemble Kalman Filter (EnKF) dan Recursive Least Square (RLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode EnKF dan RLS dapat diterapkan untuk estimasi koefisien hidrodinamika kapal dengan baik.

Prediction maneuverability at the ship design stage is an important method for evaluating ship maneuver performance. The principle of ship maneuverability is influenced by the design of the ship's hull, propulsion system, and steering system. After numerical calculation is completed, the model testing by hydrodynamic s test to determine the characteristics or performance of ship. There are two tests can be used, Captive Test and Free Running Model (FRM) Test. Captive Test can be considered more analysts than FRM Test method, but the costs required very expensive, so an alternative solution is needed to obtain the hydrodynamic coefficient of the shp in addition to using the Captive Test, that is Free Running Model Test. In this study focused on estimating the hydrodynamic coefficient of ships on nonlinear ship motion models 4 Degree of Freedom (DOF) surge, sway, roll and yaw that forces and moments X, Y, K, N using data from The Indonesian Hydrodynamics Laboratory (LHI) obtained from the Free Running Model test by zigzag test and turning test. In this study, the hydrodynamic coefficient was estimating using Ensemble Kalman Filter and Recursive Least Square. The result of this study indicates that the EnKF and RLS methods can be applied to estimate the hydrodynamics coefficient of ship accurately. Where the best hydrodynamics coefficient value is obtained with generation ensemble 500 in EnKF.Keywords: Hydrodynamic Coefficient, Free Running Model test, Estimation, Ensemble Kalman Filter, Recursive Least Square.
