Abstract

PT. Petrokimia Gresik (PG) merupakan anggota dari PT. Pupuk Indonesia Holding Company (PIHC) sebagai produsen pupuk terlengkap dan terbesar di Indonesia. Sebagai produsen pupuk di Indonesia, PT. Petrokimia Gresik harus dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pupuk nasional sehingga PT. Petrokimia Gresik perlu memperhatikan kelancaran proses produksinya. Untuk menjaga kelancaran proses produksi salah satunya yaitu dengan menjaga persediaan bahan baku pupuk tetap tersedia jika dibutuhkan dalam proses produksi. Pada kondisi eksisting PT. Petrokimia Gresik menggunakan metode pengendalian persediaan bahan baku dengan metode min – max. Namun, terdapat permasalahan overstock pada gudang bahan baku untuk Kompartemen Produksi II PT.Petrokimia Gresik. Dalam penelitian ini akan melakukan analisis perbaikan kebijakan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku pupuk untuk Kompartemen Produksi II PT. Petrokimia Gresik dengan menggunakan metode continuous review system dan optimasi pada order quantity untuk meminimumkan total biaya persediaan. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan adanya perbaikan yaitu nilai cost saving dari total biaya persediaan cukup signifikan. Cost saving total biaya persediaan bahan baku Asam Sulfat sebesar 50,10%, Asam Fosfat sebesar 61,56%, Amoniak sebesar 38,51%, Phosphate Rock sebesar 77,13%, KCl Merah sebesar 33,67%, Za sebesar 53,73%, KCl Putih sebesar 27,49%, dan DAP sebesar 53,29%.

PT. Petrokimia Gresik (PG) is a member of PT. Pupuk Indonesia Holding Company (PIHC) as the most complete and largest fertilizer producer in Indonesia. As a fertilizer producer in Indonesia, PT. Petrokimia Gresik must be able to meet national fertilizer needs so that PT. Petrokimia Gresik needs to pay attention to the smooth production process. To maintain the smoothness of the production process, one of them is to keep the supply of fertilizer raw materials available if needed in the production process. At the existing conditions PT. Petrokimia Gresik uses inventory control methods for raw materials using the min-max method. However, there is an overstock problem in the raw material warehouse for Production Compartment II PT. Petrokimia Gresik. In this study, we will analyze the improvement of the policy of controlling raw material inventories for Production Compartment II of PT. Petrokimia Gresik uses a continuous review system method and order quantity optimization to minimize the total cost of inventory. The calculation results show that there is a significant improvement in the cost saving value of the total inventory cost. Cost saving total cost of supplies of raw material for sulfuric acid is 50.10%, phosphoric acid is 61.56%, ammonia is 38.51%, Phosphate Rock is 77.13%, KCl Merah is 33.67%, Za is 53, 73%, KCl Putih is 27.49%, and DAP is 53.29%.
