Abstract
Musim merupakan periode cuaca yang paling mudah diamati dan dibedakan berdasarkan karakteristik iklimnya. Berdasarkan letak geografis Indonesia, variasi musim terutama ditentukan oleh perubahan pola curah hujan. Seiring dengan terjadinya perubahan iklim, pola curah hujan juga mengalami perubahan yang berdampak pada pergeseran musim. Perubahan musim tersebut berkaitan erat dengan dinamika siklus hidrologi yang mencerminkan perubahan distribusi massa air di permukaan bumi. Satelit Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) merupakan satelit pengamatan gayaberat yang sangat sensitif terhadap perubahan massa, khususnya redistribusi massa air, sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memantau variasi penyimpanan air di bumi. Data satelit GRACE diolah dalam bentuk koefisien *spherical harmonic* untuk memperoleh nilai *Equivalent Water Height* (EWH) sebagai representasi perubahan massa air. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menggunakan data satelit Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) untuk menganalisis distribusi curah hujan. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa nilai EWH tertinggi mencapai 27,298 cm pada Januari 2015, sedangkan nilai terendah sebesar -29,816 cm terjadi pada Juni 2004, keduanya teridentifikasi di Pulau Sumatera. Analisis tren selama periode 2002–2016 menunjukkan bahwa Pulau Sumatera mengalami kecenderungan peningkatan penyimpanan massa air, sedangkan wilayah Indonesia bagian timur menunjukkan tren penurunan. Sementara itu, tren curah hujan di Indonesia selama periode yang sama relatif konstan, meskipun terjadi perubahan pola musiman yang cukup jelas pada tahun 2010 dan 2014.

Seasons are the most observable manifestation of weather variability. Owing to Indonesia's geographical location, seasonal variations are primarily characterized by changes in rainfall patterns. As climate change progresses, rainfall patterns also change, resulting in shifts in seasonal characteristics. These seasonal changes are closely related to the hydrological cycle, which reflects the redistribution of water mass on the Earth's surface. The Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) satellite is a gravity-monitoring mission that is highly sensitive to mass variations, particularly those associated with the redistribution of terrestrial water storage. GRACE data are processed in the form of spherical harmonic coefficients to estimate water mass variations, which are expressed as Equivalent Water Height (EWH). In addition, this study utilizes rainfall data from the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) satellite to analyze rainfall variability. The results show that the highest EWH value was 27.298 cm in January 2015, while the lowest value was -29.816 cm in June 2004, both occurring over Sumatra Island. Trend analysis for the 2002–2016 period indicates a positive trend in terrestrial water storage over Sumatra and a negative trend in eastern Indonesia. Meanwhile, rainfall across Indonesia generally exhibited a relatively stable trend during the same period, although noticeable changes in seasonal rainfall patterns were observed in 2010 and 2014.
