Abstract

Stroke merupakan salah satu penyakit yang berbahaya karena menyerang gangguan pembuluh darah di otak dan dapat menyebabkan kecacatan. Penelitian kali ini bertujuan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap penyakit stroke dengan melihat gaya hidup seseorang yaitu dari riwayat penyakit yang pernah diderita, perilaku dan nutrisi. Metodologi yang akan digunakan yaitu regresi logistik biner karena variabel respon berskala kategorik yaitu penderita stroke dan bukan penderita stroke. Hasil yang diharapkan yaitu agar masyarakat dapat mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap penyakit stroke serta meningkatkan pengetahuan agar dapat mencegah penyakit stroke. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel riwayat diabetes dan aktivitas fisik berpengaruh signifikan (α=5%) terhadap status penderita stroke dengan persentase ketepatan klasifikasi sebesar 75,8%.

The research this time discusses the factors that influence stroke by looking at a person's lifestyle related to illnesses, habits and nutrition. The methodology that will be used is binary logistic regression because of the categorical scale response variable, namely stroke sufferers and not stroke patients. The expected results are so that people can understand the factors that oppose disease and increase knowledge in order to prevent stroke. The results of the analysis showed that the variables of diabetes research and physical activity had a significant effect (α = 5%) on the status of stroke patients with a percentage of accuracy of classification of 75,87%.
