Abstract

Amunisi frangible adalah alternatif amunisi pengembangan ITS yang akan di-scale up ke tahap produksi masal. Untuk mencapai tahap tersebut, dibutuhkan rancangan proses produksi, spesifikasi dan jumlah kebutuhan mesin, serta rancangan tata letak pabrik. Perancangan proses produksi dilakukan dengan target produksi 50.000.000 butir/tahun, menggunakan metode metalurgi serbuk yang terdiri dari tahapan mixing, kompaksi, sintering, finishing, quality control, dan packaging. Perancangan ini dilakukan dan menghasilkan variabel dan konstanta tiap tahapan proses, desain tata letak pabrik, serta spesifikasi dan jumlah mesin yang dibutuhkan. Untuk memvalidasi hasil perhitungan kebutuhan mesin, digunakan software Tecnomatix Plant Simulation dengan model continuous dan intermittent. Hasil paling akurat diperoleh dari model intermittent, yaitu output produksi sebesar 50.037.120 butir/tahun dengan lama waktu kerja 365 hari 3 jam 15 menit

Frangible ammunition is an alternative that is developed by ITS and planned to scale up for mass production. In order to do that, a design is needed for its production process, specification and quantity of machine needed, also its plant layout. Process production target is 50.000.000 rounds/year, using powder metallurgy method that consists of mixing, compaction, sintering, finishing, quality control, and packaging. This planning results in variables and constants for each processes, plant layout, and the specifications with number of machine needed. In order to validate those results, Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software is used. The best result obtained is an output of 50.037.120 rounds/year with a work time of 365 days 3 hours and 15 minutes.
