Abstract

Aset memegang peran penting di suatu industri manufaktur, terutama aset fasilitas produksi. PT INKA adalah salah satu industri manufaktur di Indonesia yang memiliki berbagai macam aset fasilitas produksi, salah satunya adalah forklift. Forklift digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam proses material handling. Apabila forklift bermasalah, kegiatan material handling akan terganggu. Forklift milik PT INKA memiliki Nilai Performansi Mutu (NPM) yang paling rendah dibandingkan aset fasilitas produksi lainnya, bahkan sering tidak mencapai batas minimal NPM yang telah ditetapkan. Ditemukan permasalahan bahwa forklift mengalami kerusakan dengan frekuensi cukup tinggi serta mengalami idle meski telah selesai dilakukan pemeliharaan. Alasannya adalah karena user lebih memilih forklift yang disewa dari pihak ketiga. Permasalahan ini dapat diselesaikan dengan konsep asset management, salah satu metodenya adalah Reliability Centered Asset Management (RCAM), yaitu dengan menentukan strategi pemeliharaan yang optimal untuk mengetahui kondisi aset forklift melalui aspek biaya pemeliharaan, nilai sisa, dan frekuensi kerusakan. Hasilnya adalah rekomendasi bagi perusahaan dalam memilih opsi mengelola aset fasilitas produksi sendiri melalui Asset Management Plan (AMP) atau memilih sewa melalui pihak ketiga.

Assets play an important role in the manufacturing industry, especially assets related to production facilities. PT INKA is one of the manufacturing industries in Indonesia that has various production facility assets, including forklifts as one of the tools used in material handling processes. If a forklift fails, the material handling process will be disrupted. Historical data shows that the forklift has the lowest performance value compared to other assets and often does not meet the minimum performance limit. Moreover, the forklift experiences a high frequency of failure and remains idle even after maintenance has been completed. The reason is that users prefer forklifts rented from third parties. This problem can be solved through the concept of asset management, one of which is Reliability Centered Asset Management (RCAM), namely by determining the optimal maintenance strategy to assess the condition of forklift assets through aspects of maintenance costs, residual value, and failure frequency. The result is a recommendation for the company to choose between managing its own production facility assets through an Asset Management Plan (AMP) or opting for leasing through a third party.
