Abstract

Konsep ruang metrik telah mengalami banyak pengembangan, antara lain ruang metrik cone dan ruang metrik rectangular. Penggabungan sifat cone dan rectangular pada ruang metrik menghasilkan sebuah konsep baru yang dikenal dengan ruang metrik cone rectangular. Konsep tersebut mengaplikasikan sifat serta teorema yang terdapat pada himpunan bilangan real kepada ruang Banach terurut. Perkembangan teori ruang metrik juga menghasilkan pengembangan topik-topik di dalamnya, seperti barisan dan teorema titik tetap. Pada tugas akhir ini, dikaji sifat barisan pada ruang metrik cone rectangular. Sifat tersebut kemudian digunakan untuk mengembangkan pembuktian teorema titik tetap pada ruang metrik cone rectangular. Selain itu, diberikan contoh-contoh kasus untuk menjelaskan teorema titik tetap pada ruang metrik cone rectangular.

The concept of metric spaces had been developed rapidly, two of them being concept of cone metric and rectangular metric. The merging of cone and rectangular property develop a new concept called cone rectangular metric spaces. This concept applies properties and theorems that exist in real numbers to ordered Banach spaces. The development of metric spaces concept also develops topics inside it, two of them are sequence properties and fixed point theorem. In this final project, we examine properties of sequence in cone rectangular metric spaces. Then we use the result to improve the proof of fixed point theorems in cone rectangular metric spaces. We also give some examples to explain about fixed point theorems in cone rectangular metric spaces.
