Abstract

Pada penelitian ini, mixed matric membrane PSf/KZK telah dipreparasi melalui metode inversi fasa untuk pemisahan gas. Perlakuan pemanasan pada suhu 140 C dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya. Hasil perlakuan pemanasan akan dibandingkan dengan membrane neat PSf dan MMM PSf/KZK tanpa pemanasan. Karakteristik PSf/KZL dipelajari dari hasil karakterisasi FTIR, XRD, AFM dan SEM. Performa pemisahan gas pada PSf/KZK dipelajari dari hasil permeasi gas CO2 dan N2pada variasi tekanan. MMM PSf-KZK dan PSf-KZK HT 140 berhasil memiliki performa pemisahan gas yang lebih baik dari neat PSf, dimana kondisi optimum masing-masing pada tekanan 3 dan 4 bar dengan permeabilitas CO2 sebesar 91,17 GPU dan 63,66 GPU.

In this study, a PSf/ZCC mixed matrix membrane is successfully prepared using phase inversion method. A heating treatment at 140 celcius degree is done to study the effect. The resulted heating-treatment membrane will be compared with neat PSf and PSf-KZK without heating treatment. Characteristics of MMM PSf-ZCC have been studied rom results of X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). Gas separation performance of MMM PSf-ZCC have been studied from gas permeation of CO2 and N2 at various pressure. MMM PSf-ZCC and PSf-ZCC HT 140 have higher permeability and selectivity than neat PSf membrane. The optimum permeability of PSf-ZCC is 91,17 GPU at 3 bar pressure, while PSf-ZCC HT 140 is 64,66 GPU at 4 bar pressure.
