Abstract
Surabaya adalah kota metropolitan yang didalamnya terdapat banyak pertumbuhan startup atau usaha rintisan dengan terobosan kreatif. Berbagai fasilitas pendukung disiapkan bagi para pelaku industri kreatif. Salahsatu fasilitas pendukung tersebut adalah Co-Working Space, yaitu lingkungan kerja atau kantor yang digunakan oleh orang-orang yang bekerja sendiri atau bekerja untuk perusahaan yang berbeda-beda dan saling berbagi peralatan, ide, dan pengetahuan. Sebagai lingkungan kerja, fasilitas Co-Working Space perlu memperhatikan hal-hal terkait dengan produktivitas sehingga permasalahan yang muncul adalah bagaimana menciptakan Co-Working Space yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan produktivitas pengguna. Konsep yang diterapkan adalah “Openness Space Concept”.Banyuwangi adalah salah satu kota yang sering menjadi destinasi bagi para wisatawan. Rumah pribadi yang terletak di Jl. Mawar, Banyuwangi merupakan area yang cukup strategis karena dekat dengan pusat kota. Oleh karena itu, muncullah gagasan untuk membuat sebuah fasilitas bagi para wisatawan yang datang untuk berlibur atau pun hanya sebatas transit yaitu berupa homestay. Untuk merancang homestay sebagai komoditas, obyek rancang harus memperhatikan kondisi eksisting dan sekitarnya untuk menciptakan desain rancang yang tepat. Selain itu adalah pentingnya integrasi yang baik dari rumah tinggal dan area penginapan. Konsep yang akan diterapkan pada homestay ini adalah “Modern dan Tropis”.

Surabaya is one of metropolitan city that has many startup or creative entrepreneurship. Some facilities provided for creative entrepreneurs. One of them is Co-Working Space, it is a working area used for some independent workers from different background and place for sharing some tools, ideas and knowledges. As working area, the Co-Working Space must pay attention to things about working productivity. So the challenge is how Co-Working design can increase the user motivation and influence user working productivity. The concept that will be applied is “Openness Space Concept”. Banyuwangi is one of the city that often to be destination choices for tourists. The private house at Mawar Street Banyuwangi is located in strategic area because near with the downtown of Banyuwangi. Therefore, the idea emerged to make a facility for tourists who came for vacation or transit only in the form of homestay. To design a homestay as commodity, the design object must pay attention to the existing conditions and its surroundings to create the right design. It is also need the good integration between the private house and lodging areas. The concept that will be applied to this homestay design is “Modern and Tropical”.
