Abstract
Sistem pembangkit daya beroperasi berdasarkan Siklus Rankine. Turbin uap merupakan salah satu komponen penting pada pembangkit listrik tenaga uap. Jika turbin uap dioperasikan terus menerus, maka bukan tidak mungkin akan terjadi penurunan performa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perawatan untuk meningkatkan atau menstabilkan performa dari turbin uap agar dapat bekerja secara optimal. Perawatan yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan performa turbin uap yaitu dengan overhaul. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari overhaul turbin uap terhadap performa Siklus Rankine, perlu dilakukannya analisis termodinamika performa Siklus Rankine sebelum dan setelah dilakukannya overhaul. Pada Tugas Akhir ini dilakukan perhitungan performa Siklus Rankine sebelum dan setelah overhaul pada PLTU Paiton Unit 7 dan 8 PT.POMI. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh performa Siklus Rankine yang meningkat setelah dilakukannya overhaul yaitu penurunan nilai Gross Turbine Heat Rate sebesar 59,103 kJ/kWh serta peningkatan efisiensi siklus sebesar 0,653%.

Power generating systems operate based on a Rankine Cycle. Steam Turbine is one of the existing component steam power plant. If steam turbine is operated continuously, it probable to decrease the performance. Therefore, their needed maintenance to increase or stabilize the performance of steam turbine in order to work optimally. Maintenance which can be done to increasing the performance of steam turbine is overhaul. To know the effect of steam turbine overhaul for Rankine Cycle performance, we need to do thermodynamics analysis of Rankine Cycle performance before and after overhaul. In this final project, the performance of Rankine Cycle before and after overhaul at PLTU Paiton Unit 7 and 8 PT.POMI will be calculated. From the calculation, there is an increase of Rankine Cycle performance after the overhaul like the decreasing of Gross Turbine Heat Rate by 59,103 kJ/kWh and the increasing of cycle efficiency by 0,653%.
