Abstract

PT. Unilever Indonesia, Tbk terus menerus berusaha meningkatkan kualitas produksinya dengan menerapkan sistem produksi yang tepat, cepat dan efisien. Setelah proses cartoning terdapat proses seleksi antara produk kosong atau tidak. Sistem yang ada saat ini kurang efektif dikarenakan sistem blow angin bekerja secara terus menerus meskipun produk tersebut dalam kondisi terisi. Maka perlu adanya sistem blow angin yang benar-benar dapat membedakan produk yang kosong atau tidak. Alat ini menggunakan prinsip pendeteksi logam, karena pada carton yang kosong berarti tidak terdapat tube didalamnya, Sensor proximity induktif ini akan mendeteksi keberadan logam (alumunium foil yang terdapat pada lapisan dalam tube) dan akan mengirim sebuah informasi ke sebuah sistem kontrol NodeMCU sebagai pengolah informasi tersebut dan menggerakkan aktuator yang akan mereject produk, proses reject menggunakan sistem blow angin. Dan tiap produk yang ter reject akan terhitung dan ditampilkan pada aplikasi blynk. Adanya alat pendeteksi kekosongan tube ini mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan pada proses seleksi produk hingga keakurasian mencapai 73% dari 7 kali proses pengujian dengan tiap pengujian menggunakan 10 produk pada sistem keseluruhan. Sehingga adanya alat ini dapat berperan dalam proses produksi khususnya demi meningkatkan efisiensi serta efektifitas kerja mesin packing line

PT. Unilever Indonesia, Tbk continuously strives to improve the quality of its production by implementing an appropriate, fast and efficient production system. After the cartoning process there is a selection process between empty products or not. The current system is less effective because the blow wind system works continuously even though the product is in a charged condition. Then it is necessary to have a blow wind system that can really distinguish the empty product or not. This tool uses the principle of metal detection, because on an empty carton means there is no tube in it, this inductive proximity sensor will detect the existence of metal (aluminum foil contained in the inner layer of the tube) and will send an information to a NodeMCU control system as the information processor and move the actuator that will reject the product, the reject process uses a blow wind system. And each rejected product will be counted and displayed on the Blynk application. The existence of this tube void detection device is able to solve problems in the selection process of the product and the accuracy reaches 73% from 7 times the testing process with each test using 10 products in the whole system. So that the existence of this tool can play a role in the production process, especially in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of machine work Packing line
