Abstract

Rekayasa perangkat lunak merupakan teknik untuk mengembangkan suatu perangkat lunak yang mencakup beberapa aspek seperti pengembangan, validitas dan pemeliharaan. Menurut ISO/IEC 25010 kualitas perangat lunak dibagi menjadi delapan kategori, yaitu functional suitability, reliability, performance efficiency, operability, security, compatibility, maintainability dan transferability. Salah satu aspek kualitas yang diperhatikan pada suatu perangkat lunak kinerja (performance eficiency), semakin baik kinerja maka semakin baik pula kualitas perangkat lunak yang dihasilkan. Pengukuran efisiensi kinerja suatu perangkat lunak dapat dilakukan untuk menelusuri apakah penerapan pola perancangan memberikan dampak positif atau negative. Menggunakan sistem HelloInven yang sudah ada dilakukan perubahan arsitektur aplikasi pada Domain Model tanpa mengubah tampilan, input, output dan proses bisnis dari sistem yang sudah ada. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengukuran menggunakan aplikasi JMeter dengan tool Java VisualVM. Pengukuran ini sebelumnya telah dilakukan tetapi implementasi yang dilakukan hanya pada satu perangkat lunak, sehingga kesimpulan yang ditarik masih kurang terbukti [2]. Maka dari itu perbandingan efisiensi kinerja pada sistem HelloInven yang dilakukan pada tugas akhir ini akan memberikan bukti ilmiah terhadap pengaruh pola perancangan terhadap kinerja suatu perangkat lunak. Dengan bantuan JMeter dengan tool Java VisualVM akan dilakukan perhitungan untuk efisiensi kinerja perangkat lunak.

Software engineering is a technique for developing software that includes several aspects such as development, validity and maintenance. According to ISO / IEC 25010 software quality is divided into eight categories, namely functional suitability, reliability, performance efficiency, operability, security, compatibility, maintainability and transferability. One aspect of quality that is considered in a performance software (performance efficiency), the better the performance, the better the quality of the software produced. Measurement of performance efficiency of a software can be done to trace whether the application of design patterns has a positive or negative impact. Using the existing HelloInven system, the application architecture changes to the Domain Model without changing the appearance, input, output and business processes of the existing system. Next, measurements are made using the JMeter application with the Java VisualVM tool. This measurement was previously carried out but the implementation was carried out only on one software, so the conclusions drawn were still not proven [2]. So from that comparison of performance efficiency on the HelloInven system carried out in this final project will provide scientific evidence on the effect of design patterns on the performance of a software. With the help of JMeter with the Java VisualVM tool, calculations will be made for software performance efficiency.
