Abstract
Penelitian ini mempelajari biodekolorisasi Metilen Biru (MB) oleh kultur campuran dari jamur pelapuk coklat (BRF) Gloeophyllum trabeum dan bakteri Ralstonia pickettii. R. pickettii ditambahkan ke dalam kultur 9 mL G. trabeum sebanyak 2, 4, 6, 8, dan 10 mL (1 mL = 1,39 × 108 CFU). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan semua variasi kultur campuran memiliki kemampuan untuk mendekolorisasi MB (konsentrasi akhir MB 100 mg L-1) selama 7 hari inkubasi. Penambahan 10 mL R. pickettii ke dalam kultur jamur menunjukkan dekolorisasi MB tertinggi sekitar 85,655%, sedangkan oleh G. trabeum saja hanya 11 %. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penambahan R. pickettii dapat meningkatkan biodekolorisasi MB oleh G. trabeum.
=====================================================================================================================================The biodecolorization of Methylene Blue (MB) by mixed cultures of brown rot fungus (BRF) Gloeophyllum trabeum and bacterium Ralstonia pickettii was studied. R. pickettii was added to of 9 mL of G. trabeum culture at 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 mL (1 mL = 1.39 × 108 CFU). The results showed that all variations of mixed cultures had the ability to degrade MB (the final concentration of MB 100 mg L-1) for 7 days of incubation. Addition of 10 mL of R. pickettii into fungus culture showed the highest MB decolorization of 85.655%, while G. trabeum alone was only 11 %. This study indicated that the addition of R. pickettii can enhance biodecolorization of MB by G. trabeum.
