Abstract

Kebutuhan energi final menurut Outlook Energi Indonesia 2015 meningkat dari 144 juta TOE pada tahun 2014 menjadi 1.049 juta TOE pada tahun 2050 dengan laju pertumbuhan sebesar 5,7% per tahun. Peningkatan kebutuhan energi tersebut tidak diimbangi dengan ketersediaan sumber energi yang memadai, sementara cadangan energi, terutama sumber energi tak terbarukan seperti minyak bumi, gas alam, dan batu bara, terus mengalami penurunan. Berkurangnya sumber energi tersebut berpotensi menimbulkan krisis energi. Salah satu upaya konservasi energi yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui audit energi. Audit energi bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peluang penghematan energi yang pada akhirnya dapat menurunkan biaya operasional perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengkaji upaya penghematan energi pada Lantai Dasar, Lantai 7, Lantai 8, dan Lantai 9 Gedung Kantor PTM Jakarta sebagai bagian dari pelaksanaan audit energi. Penelitian dilakukan melalui analisis sistem penerangan dan sistem pendinginan pada area tersebut. Analisis sistem penerangan di setiap ruangan dibandingkan dengan standar pencahayaan SNI 03-6197-2000. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis perhitungan beban pendinginan untuk menentukan besarnya cooling load pada setiap ruangan dengan mengacu pada standar ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum diberikan rekomendasi, tidak terdapat ruangan yang memenuhi kriteria kenyamanan intensitas pencahayaan sekaligus hemat energi sesuai standar SNI 03-6197-2000. Setelah dilakukan rekomendasi berupa penggantian lampu, seluruh ruangan memenuhi standar kenyamanan pencahayaan dan efisiensi daya sesuai SNI 03-6197-2000. Penggantian sistem penerangan tersebut menghasilkan penghematan biaya listrik sebesar Rp67.344.632 per tahun. Selain itu, penggantian kaca menjadi double glass dan penggunaan lampu LED mampu menurunkan beban pendinginan sehingga menghasilkan penghematan biaya energi sebesar Rp294.000.330 per tahun pada Lantai Dasar, Lantai 7, Lantai 8, dan Lantai 9 Gedung Kantor PTM Jakarta.

Final energy demand, according to the Indonesia Energy Outlook 2015, is projected to increase from 144 million TOE in 2014 to 1,049 million TOE by 2050, with an annual growth rate of 5.7%. This increasing demand is not matched by adequate energy supplies, while reserves of non-renewable energy resources, such as petroleum, natural gas, and coal, continue to decline. The depletion of these resources may lead to an energy crisis. One effective approach to energy conservation is the implementation of an energy audit. Through an energy audit, opportunities for energy savings can be identified, ultimately reducing a company's operational costs. Therefore, this study investigates energy-saving opportunities on the Ground Floor and the 7th, 8th, and 9th Floors of the PTM Office Building in Jakarta as part of an energy audit program. The study analyzed both the lighting and cooling systems in these areas. The lighting system in each room was evaluated based on the Indonesian National Standard SNI 03-6197-2000. Cooling load calculations were then performed to determine the cooling demand of each room using the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) standard as the reference. The results showed that, before the implementation of the recommended improvements, none of the rooms satisfied both the lighting intensity and energy efficiency requirements specified in SNI 03-6197-2000. After replacing the existing lighting system, all rooms met the required standards for lighting comfort and energy efficiency. The lighting replacement resulted in annual electricity cost savings of Rp67,344,632. Furthermore, replacing the existing windows with double-glazed glass and installing LED lighting reduced the cooling load, resulting in annual energy cost savings of Rp294,000,330 for the Ground Floor and the 7th, 8th, and 9th Floors of the PTM Office Building in Jakarta.
