Abstract
Gedung perkuliahan merupakan hal yang penting bagi sebuah perguruan tinggi untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran. Salah satu universitas di Surabaya memiliki gedung perkuliahan 7 lantai yang difungsikan sebagai gedung perkuliahan dengan berbagai fasilitas di dalamnya. Untuk menunjang pembelajaran mahasiswa tersebut, maka akan direncanakan penambahan 2 lantai untuk fasilitas ruang baca dan tambahan laboratorium. Analisa kapasitas elemen struktur mengacu pada SNI 2847-2013 “Persyaratan Beton Struktural untuk Bangunan Gedung”. Analisa struktur dilaksanakan pada struktur eksisting untuk mengetahui apakah elemen struktur masih kuat.. Setelah itu, dilakukan penambahan beban berupa penambahan lantai pada struktur eksisting. Kemudian dilakukan analisa struktur setelah penambahan lantai dan apabila elemen struktur tidak kuat maka akan dilakukan perkuatan. Perkuatan dilakukan dengan metode concrete jacketing pada kolom dengan mengacu pada IS 15988-2013 “Seismic Evaluation and Strengthening of Existing Reinforced Concrete Buildings” dan metode FRP jacketing pada balok dengan mengacu pada ACI 440.2R-17 “Guide for The Design and Construction of Externally Bonded FRP Systems for Strengthening Concrete Structures”. Tugas akhir ini melakukan evaluasi terhadap struktur eksisting dan merancang perkuatan terhadap elemen struktur yang tidak kuat. Selain itu, akan dijelaskan mengenai metode pelaksanaan, rencana anggaran biaya, dan durasi pekerjaan mengenai perkuatan elemen struktur.

Educational building is one of many important element of a university to do educational activity. A university in Surabaya, which is the object of this final project, has 7-storey educational building with many facilities inside. Addition of 2 story vertically will be initiated to increase the quality of the educational activity, which will be planned to be functioned as library and additional laboratories. The analysis of structure member capacity is based on SNI 2847-2013 “Persyaratan Beton Struktural untuk Bangunan Gedung”. Structure analysis performed to existing structural members in order to acquire the capacity of the members. Then, vertical story extension is carried out. Thereafter, the vertically extended structure be analyzed and the members will be strengthen if the loads exceed the capacity of the member. Column concrete jacketing method principle refers to IS 15988-2013 “Seismic Evaluation and Strengthening of Existing Reinforced Concrete Buildings” and beam FRP jacketing refers to ACI 440.2R-17 “Guide for The Design and Construction of Externally Bonded FRP Systems for Strengthening Concrete Structures”. The applied final project is intended to evaluate the existing structure due to vertical story extension and design structural members strengthening, as well as the strengthening method, cost, and duration.
