Abstract

Gedung Hotel Premier Inn terletak di Kota Surabaya dengan luas bangunan ± 940,87 m2 dan tinggi 33,65 m. Terdiri dari sembilan lantai dan satu basemen. Gedung Hotel Premier Inn Surabaya direncanakan menggunakan beton bertulang dengan sistem ganda yang mengacu peraturan SNI 1726-2002 dan SNI 2847-2002. Pada tugas akhir ini direncanakan alternatif desain pada Gedung Hotel Premier Inn dengan memodifikasi gedung tanpa menggunakan shear wall dan menggantinya dengan sistem peredam/damper. Damper berfungsi meredam respons struktur ketika gedung mengalami beban lateral. Ada banyak jenis damper, dalam tugas akhir ini digunakan Fluid Viscous Damper (FVD) karena menyesuaikan karakteristik tanah pada lokasi yang ditinjau berdasarkan data tanah pada lokasi bangunan. Perhitungan struktur mengacu pada peraturan yang terbaru yaitu SNI 2847-2013, SNI 1729-2015, ACI 318M-14, dan AISC 360-16. Sedangkan perhitungan pembebanan mengacu pada ASCE 7-2002 dan SNI 1727-2013. Proses perhitungan struktur meliputi analisis pembebanan, permodelan struktur dengan ETABS 17, analisis gaya dalam, perhitungan penulangan. Dikarenakan sistem struktur dengan fluid viscous damper belum diatur secara signifikan dalam SNI 1726-2012, maka perencanaan struktur gedung tahan gempa dalam tugas akhir ini menggunakan Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Biasa dengan menggunakan nilai parameter gempa rencana yaitu; R=3, Ω_0=2 dan Cd=2,5. Pada instalasinya fluid viscous damper disambung dengan breising Hollow Structural Square (HSS) dan dipasang secara diagonal dengan sistem sambungan gusset plate.
Berdasarkan hasil analisa, alternatif desain gedung Hotel Premier Inn mengalami penurunan baik nilai periode fundamental maupun simpangan antar lantai dibandingkan desain eksisting. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, alternatif desain ini menggunakan 38 buah fluid viscous damper tipe FVD-H-500-150 ITT Series dengan kapasitas 500kN. Posisi fluid viscous damper dominan pada sumbu lemah (sumbu Y) dengan jumlah 10 buah pada arah X dan 28 buah pada arah Y. Instalasi fluid viscous damper menggunakan profil HSS 254×12,7 disambung menggunakan gusset plate tebal 20mm dan angkur 8 M33 pada ujung peletakannya.

Premier Inn Surabaya Hotel located in Surabaya with a construction area of ± 940,87 m2 and 33,65 m tall. Consisting of nine floors and one basement. The Premier Inn Surabaya Hotel is planned to use reinforced concrete with a dual system that refers to SNI 1726-2002 and SNI 2847-2002 regulations. In this final project, alternatives design is planned by modifying the structure without using a shear wall and replacing it with a damping system. Damper serves to reduce the structure response when the building encounter lateral loads. There are many types of dampers, in this final project, Fluid Viscous Damper (FVD) is applied by the reason of characteristics of the soil at the location reviewed based on soil data on the building location.
Structure calculation refer to the latest regulations, specifically SNI 2847-2013, SNI 1729-2015, ACI 318M-14, and AISC 360-16. While the loading calculation refers to the ASCE 7-2002 and SNI 1727-2013. The structure calculation process includes loading analysis, structural modeling with ETABS 17, internal force analysis, reinforcement calculation. Because the structural system with a fluid viscous damper has not been regulated significantly in SNI 1726-2012, the planning of earthquake-resistant building structures in this final project uses Ordinary Moment Resisting Frame System applying earthquake parameter values plan, namely; R = 3, Ω0 = 2 and Cd = 2.5. During installation, the viscous damper fluid is connected by bracing Hollow Structural Square (HSS) and installed diagonally with a gusset plate connection system.
Based on the results of the analysis, the alternative design of the Premier Inn Hotel has decreased both the fundamental period and interstory drift compared to the existing design. Based on the calculation results, this design alternative uses 38 fluid viscous dampers, type FVD-H-500-150 ITT Series with a capacity of 500kN. The position of the viscous damper fluid is dominant on the weak axis (Y axis) with 10 pieces in the X direction and 28 pieces in the Y direction. Fluid viscous damper installation uses a HSS 254 × 12.7 profile connected by 20mm thick gusset plate and 8 M33 anchor bolt at the end of the joint.
