Abstract
Pesatnya pertumbuhan UKM di Jawa Timur membuktikan bahwa sektor UKM memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian di Jawa Timur. Dibutuhkan dukungan oleh peran pemerintah agar pertumbuhan UKM dapat terus mengalami peningkatan dan stabil. Galeri Batik Provinsi Jawa Timur merupakan sebuah wadah yang disediakan oleh Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Provinsi Jawa Timur untuk menjadi media promosi produk hasil UKM dari 38 kabupaten dan kota di Jawa Timur sebagai bentuk dukungan pemerintah Jawa Timur. Perkembangan perekonomian di Jawa Timur juga disambut positif oleh para investor untuk mendirikan usaha galeri di Jawa Timur. Dengan banyaknya jumlah galeri, akan menimbulkan persaingan diantara pengelola galeri. Dari berbagai permasalahan yang ada, dibutuhkan strategi yang tepat agar Galeri Batik Provinsi Jawa Timur dapat unggul diantara galeri lainnya dengan cara melakukan redesain pada interior galeri. Metode karya tulis yang dipakai menggunakan analisa sintesa dengan menguraikan hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan pokok-pokok bahasan melalui cara memaparkan data-data yang berdasarkan studi literatur, wawancara dan observasi lapangan yang berhubungan dengan materi penelitian ini. Redesain ini menggunakan site asli dari Galeri Batik Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Timur. Perancangan desain interior pada objek tugas akhir ini menerapkan konsep yang mengusung etnik khas Jawa Timur di dalam keseluruhan ruangan, serta sebagai ikon identitas dari Galeri Batik Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Timur. Untuk merancang galeri diperlukan penambahan fasilitas tambahan. Rencana desain untuk memperkuat galeri sebagai media promosi adalah dengan membuat interior terlihat netral, menggunakan display produk sebagai fokus utama, dan menghadirkan informasi produk dengan jelas.

The rapid growth of MSMEs in East Java proves that this sector has an important role in the economy in East Java. Support is needed by the government's role so that MSME growth can continue to increase and stabilize. The Batik Gallery of East Java Province is a forum provided by the East Java Provincial Cooperative and MSME Office to become a media for promoting MSME products from 38 districts and cities in East Java as a form of East Java government support. Economic development in East Java was also positively welcomed by investors to establish a gallery business in East Java. With the large number of galleries, it will create competition among gallery managers. From the various problems that exist, it needs a proper strategy so that the Batik Gallery of East Java Province can excel among other galleries by redesigning the gallery interior. The Writing Method used on this design uses synthesis analysis by describing matters relating to the subject matters through how to present data based on literature studies, interviews and field observations related to this research material. This design uses the original site from the Batik Gallery of the East Java Provinciaral Government.
The interior design planning in this final project object applies the concept that carries the ethnicity of East Java in the whole room, as well as an icon of identity from the Batik Gallery of the East Java Provincial Government. To design a gallery, additional facilities are needed. The design plan to strengthen the gallery as a promotional medium is to make the interior look neutral, use the product display as the main focus, and present product information clearly.
