Abstract

The uniqueness of the Karangsambung complex geology makes itself the main objective of geological and geophysical learning. The existence of illegal mining by local people and the erosion process resulted in the erosion of the geological outflow especially in the Kaligending River, Karangsambung. In addition, research in the field of earth in the Kaligending River is very minimal. So that this study aims to identify physical parameters in the form of density values, compressional wave velocities and shear wave velocities at the Karangsambung measurement site and reconstruct virtual 3D geological models by means of aerial photogrammetry using drones so that the continuity of earth education continues. The research method in the form of strike dip measurements, rock samples in the form of chunks in 22 Kaligending River points were subsequently conditioned in the form of cores to be analyzed for physical parameters, and aerial photo taking with the help of drones for aerial photogrammetry techniques. The results of the physical parameter analysis showed that the relationship of Vp to Vs was directly proportional to the value of R2 obtained 0.8481. Whereas there is no close relationship between density to Vp with the value R2 0.156 and density to Vs with the value R2 0.1485 due to the low density value not followed by the values of Vp and Vs which are also low. Making 3D virtual geological models by aerial photogrammetry can be done using photo processing software and making animations based on the SfM (Structure from Motion) algorithm.
