Abstract
Selubung bangunan memiliki peran penting dalam mengurangi konsumsi energi untuk pendinginan dan pencahayaan. Oleh karena itu, perancangan selubung bangunan vertikal, terutama jendela, harus dilakukan secara hati-hati untuk menghindari masuknya panas ke dalam bangunan secara berlebihan. Sehingga diperlukan penelitian untuk menganalisa apakah nilai OTTV pada bangunan research center ITS sesuai dengan SNI. Penghitungan OTTV pada gedung dilakukan dengan OTTV parsial timur dan barat. Setelah nilai OTTV parsial per lantai didapat maka nilai OTTV total gedung dihitung. Dari hasil perhitungan didapat nilai OTTV parsial timur dan barat masing masing lantai sebagai berikut: lantai 2 dan 3 sebesar 25,40, lantai 4 sampai 10 sebesar 24,37, dan lantai 11 sebesar 18,89. Dari hasil OTTV parsial per lantai tersebut didapat nilai OTTV total gedung research center ITS sebesar 24,02 Watt/m2. Hasil tersebut memenuhi kriteria SNI 03-6389-2000 bahwa nilai OTTV total selubung bangunan tidah melebihi 45 Watt/m2. Perbaikan cooling load tidak perlu dilakukan karena efek desain pasif.

Building envelope has an important role in reducing energy consumption for cooling and lighting. Therefore, the design of a vertical building envelope, especially windows, must be carried out carefully to avoid excessive heat entering the building. So research is needed to analyze whether the value of OTTV in the ITS research center building is in accordance with SNI. OTTV calculations on the building were carried out with partial OTTV east and west. After the partial OTTV value per floor is obtained, the OTTV value of the total building is calculated. From the calculation results obtained the partial eastern and western OTTV values of each floor as follows: floors 2 and 3 of 25.40, floors 4 to 10 of 24.37, and 11th floor of 18.89. From the results of partial OTTV per floor, the OTTV value of the total ITS research center building was 24.02 Watt / m2. These results fit the criteria of SNI 03-6389-2000 that the OTTV value of the total building envelope does not exceed 45 Watts / m2. Repairing cooling load is not necessary because of the passive design effect.
